Diara's Cottage

We had a lovely time at Diara’s cottage! The staff were so lovely and we quickly learnt that it’s a family that run the place. Everything was clean, the bed was huge and super comfortable and the shower powerful. We really enjoyed having our breakfast outside on the patio surrounded by all the greenery and plants. The views for sunset were also incredible. The breakfast was lovely, I had the banana pancake every morning and really enjoyed it. Within a 5 minute walk you have various warungs and cafes with some incredible views! It is around a 10 minute walk into the centre of ubud but that was perfect for us. I loved being away from the busy roads and surrounded by rice fields. I would highly recommend it here if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable stay.

This didn’t bother us as much, but the road leading up to the cottage is very small and only accessible by a scooter. We had backpacks so we walked up with our bags but the staff can meet you at taxi drop off and help with bags, just something to keep in mind. Only other thing it would have been nice to have a mini fridge to keep water etc in, but not a deal breaker for us. We loved staying here!

Nice location - very close to the rice fields and peaceful yet totally walkable to the Ubud center. There are cafes nearby as well. The hosts communicate well and also offer a nice light breakfast.

Parts of the territory seem to be under construction/work in progress, however there was no noise related to that.

Era precioso, no se escuchaba nada de ruido y eso que está en Ubud, pero está rodeado de jardin y terrazas de arroz. Las personas del lugar maravillosas y la mujer atenta siempre de todo. Super recomendado

Para acceder de noche un pelín complicado pero ellos te ponen facilidades si llegas de noche

Malheureusement manque de propreté, les murs ne sont pas dépoussière, il y’avait quelques bêtes mortes et toiles d’araignée, la salle de bain n’était pas très propre et n’avait aucun endroit où dépose notre dentifrice etc…, le bac de douche est très profond difficile d’accès, la douche a besoin d’une rénovation complète.
