We had a spacious, clean and secure 2 bedroom apartment. Ortigia is an old part of the city, with narrow streets and alleys. The location is excellent - short walking distance to anywhere in Ortigia. Our hosts were friendly, and kind enough to give us a lift to the Railway Station on departure.
We initially found it difficult to locate Dame', but with the help of our taxi driver we soon found it.
Given the nature of Ortigia, some noise from vehicles and passers-by and street graffiti are inevitable. We did not find it disturbing.
