Anacreonte Ortigia Apartment

Very good location on Ortigia Island - walkable to everything Apartment was spacious comfortable and everything worked well - air con, WiFi etc Host Nicole was very helpful and friendly - she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed Very nice roof terrace which is shared with a couple of other apartments, but I never saw anyone else up there, possibly because of the external staircase you need to climb to access it Overall, it was a great choice and we really enjoyed our stay. We had 5 nights and could have done with a couple more If you bring a car, it's worth paying $25 a day for the valet parking just across the road, because there's nowhere nearby you can park on the street due to resident's parking restrictions on Ortigia Island. It works well - they are open from 7am until 11pm, so easy to come and go each day

A few minor points, but they didn't spoil our stay: Bear in mind that you need to go up a couple of flights of stairs to access the apartment, which may be an issue for some people The kitchen would benefit from a couple of new sharp knives for cutting bread/vegetables etc It got dark about 7pm when we visited in early October and there doesn't seem to be a light on roof terrace, so it's effectively unavailable after darkness falls

The apartment was very attractive and very comfortable. Our hostess Nicole was amazing and helped us whenever we had a question or a problem.

The two flights of stairs up to the apartment - but all the old buildings in Ortigia have the same issue.

L'emplacement dans Syracuse, la possibilité de déposer les bagages à proximité, la possibilité de modifier notre horaire d'arrivée

l'appartement est peu équipé, mais cela ne nous a pas géné.

The apparent is big and it is good for maximum of 2 people… the location is almost perfect…

The apartments are maybe 3! Our has problem with the bed - the mattress was awful… the water flow rate was terrible and the water in the toilet didn’t stop! Also we were 7 days and only they give us one extra set of towels! No cleaning! Parking is so faraway and it is ZTL zone!
