Very clean, amazing customer service and close to everything

We loved staying at this apartment. It was in a great spot in Ortigia. Nice and quiet and night but still right next to the morning markets. It was only a couple of minute walk to the carpark which made getting luggage to and from easily. Was brilliant to have access to a washing machine. The accomodation fitted our family of 4 perfectly. Would definetly stay again. Only thing that could have been better would be the water pressure. This has no reflection on the apartment or the hosts. There were Syracuse wide water issues when we where staying.

The location is unbeatable. Staying on Ortigia Island is definitely the way to experience Syracuse, and this apartment puts you right in the heart of it. Getting the keys was smooth, and the contacts on WhatsApp were helpful.

The apartment didn't meet my expectations for a 8.7 score - it felt OK but not "fabulous". The listing is a bit confusing; make sure to double-check which unit you are booking, as the one-bedroom lacks the big terrace and bunkbed shown in other photos. In the kitchen there is no dishwasher, the utensils are quite basic, and the kettle is not the electric type. The shower also needs some maintenance. Storage is lacking; there is huge empty space under the stairs but no shelves, and a weird curtained area above the TV. Also, in the bedroom you can hear every step and noise from the guests above.
