About this cottage rental
Refurbished barn to a self catering cottage, located in the tranqil countryside just a short walk to Muff Glen wood. A perfect location for visitors visiting Northern Ireland, Derry City is a 15 minute drive & Donegal just 20 minute drive. Giants Causeway & Game of Thrones locations are both a pleasant day out & a comfortable drive to both sites. The cottage is fully equipped with all mod cons and has a log burning stove so no matter what the weather its perfect for cosy nights in.

The house was very clean overall, spacious rooms with a big living room. The location was very nice , quite and peaceful. Overall very pleased.

We found the cottage to be the perfect base for our time in this beautiful part of Ireland. The property is spacious, spotlessly clean, well furnished and equipped with all the home comforts. The large open plan kitchen/diner is a great sociable space for preparing and enjoying meals and the adjoining living room perfect for relaxing. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds and the bathrooms are well fitted and maintained, and very clean.
There was milk, bread, butter, tea and biscuits and other kitchen essentials kindly laid on for us so we could have a drink on arrival before setting off for provisions.
Although rural and very peaceful, the cottage is only a 5 minute drive from Eglinton village (with shops and a supermarket) and 15 minutes from Derry City. We visited Derry, The Giant's Causeway, Portrush, Grianan of Aileach (a ring fort with breathtaking views), the coast around Dunfanaghy, and Belfast and really enjoyed it all!
Thanks to Bevin and John for taking the time and care to create and maintain such a great holiday home. We highly recommend the cottage and hope to return to see more of this stunning area of Ireland.
