About this house rental

The villa has an amazing view on the hills and is among olive-trees, cherry-trees and vines which, deriving from ancient traditions, produce several very famous wines: Amarone, Reciotto and Soave. This nineteen century stone-house has just been restored and there is also a newly built beautiful salt water swimming pool. Natural materials were chosen to respect the spirit and the tradition of the place and preserve the character of the original structure. It has two terraces, one is provided with a fire-place with a grill and dining table. It's surrounded by a 35000 square feet garden partly planted with olive-trees. Nearby attractions include several wineries and historic landmarks such as the castle of Soave and the Roman thermal baths of Caldiero. It's half an hour away from the center of Verona, forty minutes from Lake Garda and one hour and fifteen minutes from Venice.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Verona! The villa itself was stunning, set in the most lovely grounds with amazing views of the local vineyards, and it was decorated beautifully and was spotlessly clean throughout. It was also one of the best stocked kitchens we’ve ever had, which made it ideal for our large group (all utensils you could ever need, big serving dishes, and extra large pots and pans!). The pool and deckchairs were an extra special touch too. What really made the stay special, though, were the hosts. They were so kind, thoughtful, and helpful, and couldn’t have done more for us. Their support made everything feel easy and relaxed, and we were incredibly grateful. Thank you so much Sophie and family! We also loved the local area - wine tasting and eating pizza in town were real highlights. We didn’t have a car, so next time we’d definitely make sure to have one as we’d love to come back and explore even more. We also went into Verona on one day and had a lovely day there too. There really is so much to do!Every single one of us wants to come back again and I think that’s testament to how great this property and host is! Thanks again !

We had a great stay with our extended family. The pool was perfect for the kids (although not secured, was ok for us but worth knowing)The drive up is quite steep as mentioned in other reviews but after a few trips up and down we managed it with ease. Our cars (a van and a medium sized sedan) had no issues. There are quite a lot of stairs but it is possible to drive up to the level of the kitchen, meaning that there are only a few steps at a time to manage. For people with reduced mobility this may also be worth knowing. The villa is beautiful and the communication with the host was easy and very friendly. Any issues or questions we had were taken care of immediately. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, filter coffee machine, Mokka maker, decent sized pots and plenty of cutlery to cook for even a large group (we were 10). The views are beautiful and trips to Verona, Lago Di garda, Venice were no problem.

The property is beautifully situated in the vineyards of a non-touristy valley in the immediate vicinity of Verona. It is far away from the main road. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need during your stay. Children will find plenty to keep them entertained with the attic, projector, and perfect pool. The host is very friendly and always available if there are any problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already thinking about coming back. Thank you!

This house is amazing. We were 7 adults and a teenager - and the house was perfect for our needs - great pool area, spacious and well/equipped kitchen and nice rooms/beautiful bathrooms. The house was clean, well-kept and beautiful. We were a little anxious to find that the bedrooms don’t have their own aircon, but we kept the shutters closed during the day and open windows at night and then it was really pleasant also in July. The road to the house is gravel and they offer to meet you by the local church to go to the house together. I don’t think we would have found it ourselves ;-)Very close to Verona - and the local town is also nice with a couple of really good restaurants. Also good local wineries nearby. We highly recommend this place!
