The location is great. The staff very kind and answered all our questions before our stay

There were no iron or ironing board. There were also no TVs in the rooms. In addition, we had to ask for the air conditioning remote control. We were informed that the temperature could not be set below 23–24°C. During the night, the air conditioning kept turning off and on, which made it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Wir hatten das Deluxe Apartment mit 1 Schlafzimmer. Die Lage ist perfekt für einen Biennale-Besuch. Ruhige Gegend abseits der Touristenströme. Vaporetto-Station San Pietro in 5 min Entfernung. Restaurants, Bars, Geschäfte, Bäcker etc. in ca. 10 min Entfernung. Die Unterkunft und Ausstattung sind grundsätzlich ok, von einem Deluxe Apartment zu sprechen ist aber weit überzogen (siehe unten...)

Achtung! Die bei der Buchung angezeigte Lage ist nicht die Unterkunft, sondern das Büro der Vermieter!! Die genaue Lage unseres Appartments haben wir trotz Nachfrage erst bei Ankunft im Büro erfahren (war ca. 10 min. entfernt). Das Appartment war grundsätzlich ok, allerdings war es im den Räumen so dunkel, dass man trotz offener Fenster das Licht aufdrehen musste. Auf der Terrasse blickte man auf eine Holz. bzw. Ziegelmauer wo ein abgebautes Baugerüst gelagert war. Die Terrasse war ungereinigt und lieblos (ein Tisch, 4 Stühle und ein schmutziger Beistelltisch - aus) und ein paar Töpfe mit vertrockneten Pflanzen.

Location ideal for visiting Bienale. The place was quiet and far from touristy places. But we really enjoyed the location. It’s not that very far if you are willing to walk for 30-40mins from Rialto to apt, it was manageable. We arrived late at night so it wasn’t straight forward to get there, however hotel offered self checkin, which made us select this apt.

Be aware that there are a lot of mosquitoes, take sprays or use any other products to manage them. The location is more humid.

Idyllic location. Great spot in a quaint laneway off the main Via Garibaldi in Castello, one of the residential districts. Walk down the lane way & directly into cafes, fresh fruit stall, & a short 30sec walk to the bakery. Dotted with a number of restaurants, cafe bars, coffee spots, even a take away pizza place and gelateria. Honestly perfect for kids. Ideal for living away from home, a mini supermarket and pharmacy is less that a minute walk away. Around the corner from Garibaldi park, were you can stroll down the park to get relief from the humid Venetian summer. And say hello to the family of turtles in the pond. Two vapporetto (water bus) stops are a 5-10min walk away (Arsenale & Giardini) giving access to the entire city via various vaporetti lines. (1,2,4.1,4.2,5.1,5.2). Lovely, quiet and safe, but only a 5min ferry ride to the hustle and bustle of Piazza San Marco. Nice and clean. Clean bathroom and shower, small kitchen.

Unfortunately a family of 6 was a stretch for the accomodation. The two air conditioned bedrooms upstairs were ideal for my 4 kids, but the downstairs living room converted into a third bedroom wasn’t ideal given only a fan to cool down. No washing machine limited the options for washing clothes. The washing lines pinned between buildings was cool, and in the summer heat dried clothes real quick.
