Comfortable and unique

The location ! So much better staying at the apartments rather than some hotels. Originally thought it was a little far away from everything but then that turned out to be the best part. Much more authentic. Loved being across from the church and it was a 10-15 min walk to St Marks. Fit all 5 of us comfortably. No sitting area except for the kitchen or terrace outside. This was fine for us since we weren’t hanging out in the apartment but if you want that, this place doesn’t have it.

Fantastic for families with kids. Great reaidential area away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, but a short ferry

Idyllic location. Great spot in a quaint laneway off the main Via Garibaldi in Castello, one of the residential districts. Walk down the lane way & directly into cafes, fresh fruit stall, & a short 30sec walk to the bakery. Dotted with a number of restaurants, cafe bars, coffee spots, even a take away pizza place and gelateria. Honestly perfect for kids. Ideal for living away from home, a mini supermarket and pharmacy is less that a minute walk away. Around the corner from Garibaldi park, were you can stroll down the park to get relief from the humid Venetian summer. And say hello to the family of turtles in the pond. Two vapporetto (water bus) stops are a 5-10min walk away (Arsenale & Giardini) giving access to the entire city via various vaporetti lines. (1,2,4.1,4.2,5.1,5.2). Lovely, quiet and safe, but only a 5min ferry ride to the hustle and bustle of Piazza San Marco. Nice and clean. Clean bathroom and shower, small kitchen.

Unfortunately a family of 6 was a stretch for the accomodation. The two air conditioned bedrooms upstairs were ideal for my 4 kids, but the downstairs living room converted into a third bedroom wasn’t ideal given only a fan to cool down. No washing machine limited the options for washing clothes. The washing lines pinned between buildings was cool, and in the summer heat dried clothes real quick.

The best thing about the property was it's locatio, 15 min walk from St Mark's Square, next to a Super market

You had no view from the windows, which seem to open out to other neighbours,, so you felt a bit exposed. The cooler was leaking.

Decent house, nothing great. Distance between - Keys Collection and Apartment is Issue.

Very clean, we got ground floor apartment. Proper towel and blankets. Decent small size kitchen.

Pleasant

location was excellent, a very lively part of the city. Restaurants and felt safe ! The hosts were super kind and helpful. Cleaness was perfect.

internet really bad, no tv, water in shower was inadequate I did not feel like home I needed the internet to do work and communicate with home . for two days internet interupting every 10 min it afffected my work! I was writing reviwes about the Biennale. no TV? yes, it is a vacation place but do i have to depend on my tablet? which did not work because of poor internet

Clean and tidy, met our basic needs, but ultimately a little disappointing.

The apartment was clean and tidy, the kitchen facilities met our needs for simple self catering. The WiFi was useful (though on occasion cut out) Also, the apartment was well positioned for the Giardini and Arsenale (the reason for our stay).

The apartment we stayed in was on the ground level in a narrow passageway. As such it was gloomy and somewhat damp with no views out of the windows. The agency managing the apartment does not give out the location of the apartment assigned to you until you arrive so we weren't prepared for this. Ultimately this was quite disappointing especially when what we booked was billed a "deluxe" apartment.

Nice and quiet place. Close to canal, park and sea and Giardini Biennalle station. 10 min walk to San Marco station.

Boiler to make tea or coffee need to be changed. It was rusty inside. We used our own boiler.

Very good stay in the "true" Venice community !

As main "plus" points, I would state 1) the very great kindness (and availability) of the host 2) the location in the "true" Venice, apart from the very touristic zones 3) the silence of the apartment, which was very comfortable, especially during the night 4) the proximity of places to get some food, even in take-away mode

As "minus" points, I would mainly underline some lacks in terms of cleanliness (but immediately taken into consideration by the host) and the fact that the apartment is a bit 'old-styled'

This was our second stay at this place and it was MUCH cleaner this time around. The people were very helpful with letting us store our luggage until check in time.

The toilet is very tight between the shower. The shower is very small.

Les équipements : pas assez de couverts, ni de vaisselle, pas assez d'éclairage d'appoint dans les chambres, la literie basique Des informations plus détaillées sur l'accessibilité du logement car il y a plusieurs volées d'escalier très raides pour accéder au logement et nous étions avec des personnes âgées 1 seule salle de bain et 1 toilette (dans la sdb) : pas adapté pour un groupe de plus de 4 personnes
