Omotenashi House Kawaguchi

The price point is very good. I do think the room we stayed in had a charm of its own. It seemed a little old fashioned, but it was very clean. It felt like quite a normal apartment one would live in just outside of Tokyo and we enjoyed that aspect about it. It was certainly a Japanese style room. Whilst that can take a little to get used to, we adapted and became very fond of the room in the end. Still, an open mind is needed, we feel. If you manage expectations accordingly, you won’t have problem staying here. I did make a mistake with our dates, which was totally my own fault, but the owner, Seki-san proved to be understanding and courteous throughout. We settled for another night and j paid it personally to him. He didn’t make me feel terrible over my own mistake. I was relieved. He’s definitely quite the gentleman.

I don’t have any real complaints. Some may find the rooms a little old fashioned, but they are kept very clean. If anything, this adds to the charm. If you can prepare yourself with this in mind, you should have no issues. The area has had some bad press in recent times. It may seem grittier in some areas than what tourists are used to when visiting Japan, but you shouldn’t come into any trouble. However, this isn’t the fault of the property. Having an open mind is recommended.

Rich facilities and an apartment all to ourselves. Microwave, induction hob, toaster-oven, fridge, kettle, washing machine, TV, Wifi. Elevator/Lift to floor. Although a bit north of main Tokyo, it is located within 5 mins walk of a JR East train station which gets you downtown in around 30 min for under $2. Large supermarket within 10 mins walk as well as many smaller stores and places to eat.

The area for the double bed was a bit cramped, making getting out at night a little difficult. The Internet got very slow and even stopped at times.

仕方ないことだが西川口の治安が悪い

La proximité avec la gare de Nishikawaguchi était excellente, tout près de restaurants, de kombini. C'était très bien. Le confort du lit était très bien. Dans la cuisine il y avait le minimum mais cela a suffit. J'ai eu contact avec les propriétaires qui ont été très très gentils.

Je n'ai pas aimé les fils branchements électriques derrière le lit,ni la petite lumière derrière la tête du lit.Ma réservation devait comporter, comme sur la photo, un fauteuil qu'il n'y avait pas. Devait être aussi dans la location le nécessaire pour repasser que je n'ai pas vu, il manquait un bidet dans la salle d'eau pourtant proposé dans le matériel, pas de grille pain comme annoncé, et surtout PAS DE BAIN A REMOUS comme annoncé sur ma réservation imprimée; ainsi le rapport qualité prix n'était pas bon pour moi.
