Stoneleigh Village

The cottage was incredible! The facilities were amazing. The garden was a large, enclosed space, perfect for our children. The hot tub was great and a special treat. All in all, it's the first place we've stayed at that I want to rebook for next year. Thank you for such a brilliant stay.

Nothing at all.

The property was spacious and plenty of room. It was next to the Donkey Sanctuary and in between various locations we visited during our stay. The walk around the property was very nice. Wish it could have stayed open after 6pm. Nice back garden area with a pub table. Beds comfortable The accommodation was mostly clean. Fully furnished. Washing Machine was provided with washing tablets Bin Bags, cloths, washing liquid provided

The toilet flush was a little sticky. On the first night we thought it was broken, but you have to pull it out and it will work. Fridge was a little dirty but usable. Shower, we didn't know on the first night about the water heater, needing to turn it on. Shower was ok, but leaks on the basin side. The shower head in the bath doesn't work. Tap outside doesn't work. Password to Wifi is in book, not in the text that was sent to us. TV remote was snapped in half, but useable. TV half screen faded, but didn't use it much. Village main build closed down. No shops near by. ALL MINOR ISSUES!!.. The place was better than the last place we stayed in Woodbury. Lovely decorations and comfortable

The location was central. The accommodation was a great size. We also appreciated the washing up liquid, hand soap etc. the kitchen had everything we needed from pots and pans to tea towels and a dishwasher with tablets.

There were a few niggly things. The pot holes on the way to the accommodation were big and deep, there weren't parking signs for all accommodation so some people parked awkwardly, a picket fence around the patio would have helped with the dog and the threshold into the bathroom had deteriorated which is not major but could be a hazard.

Lots of public transport routes, and had a lot of sounds of nature (donkeys, birds and sometimes the sea). Evangeline was very spacious. Value for money was alright, since we were out most days and the company made it quite homey

Showers and toilets didn’t work. 2 homes had one toilet that didn’t flush and the other had a broken toilet seat. One had a shower that only had hot or extremely hot. WiFi was poor but in some areas there was good signal. Not enough for streaming though. Tv had a lot of static on most channels. Ovens were not clean, floors not clean, bath not clean. Minimal cleaning done on toilets and beds. Doesn’t have cleaning supplies. Need to bring your own dishwasher and washing machine tablets or detergent. SO MANY BUGS, there were 10 spiders minimum in each room and ant infestations in the walls. There was a dog that was just roaming free that came into our house through the back door and barked at us :/
