Overall despite the point mentioned above I would definitely return as it was good value for the money in that area ,and

Everything you would expect was there and more ,great welcome gift great location for what we wanted The cottage was clean and well kept

Only downside is walking round to the entrance door there is no footpath just wet grass on our stay and unlit at night looks like a lot of visitors put their cases ,bags etc through the bedroom window when arriving/departing so not to have to drag them around the back ,whole site looks a little run down now but the accommodation itself is very good

Keepers cottage

The cottage was very good with everything you needed it was clean with some tea, coffee and biscuits were left to use also milk. beds were comfortable and heating soon warmed up the building. lots of hot water. nice seating area outside with a sea view.

No real problems but it would be nice if there was a pathway to the door, at the moment you have to walk on glass and if there had been a lot of rain it would of been bit of a pain. The door lock played up when locking the door. The site looked like it needs a bit of TLC but the cottage was very nice.

Nice place nice quiet area.

It was modern and well decorated and generally clean. Quiet location and next to the donkey sanctuary. Beautiful views.

There was a lot of cobwebs on the ceilings and the skylight. The pans were dirty from the last holiday’ers. There was only two dinner knifes and only two cutting knifes which were blunt. The WiFi was useable but not great. The emergency lighting green light was so bright in the bedrooms we had to cover them with tape. The park was quite run down and the grass was overgrown in some areas (it was cut on our last day). The beach walk is advertised as a ten min walk which it definitely isn’t.

Our stay at Stoneleigh Holiday park

Clean,light, and airy, very well equipped. Good sized property. Hospitality tray and uht milk. A nice touch.

Bed linen a bit worse for wear. One of the single sheets did not fit the matress and kept coming off the bed . There is no shelf or cabinet in the bathroom. As we were 4 adults sharing and only one very small radiator towel rail. A folding chair or stool would help. No recycle facilities on site. The site was a little untidy and unkempt. Grass track to the property was overgrown & got a bit muddy.

no slip mat in bath. no shelf I bathroom to put things on eg toothbrush’s. not really elderly friendly in bathroom. double mattress stained if I had known before sleeping on it I wouldn’t have. couch in lounge broke.

The radiator in the bathroom was permanently on, very hot, our toddler almost burnt herself. The matrasses in the second bedroom need replacement.

A great find!

It was everything I hoped it would be from the online pictures & description, having all that we needed and more. Beautiful aspect/view of sea. Had some sunny weather so the fantastic windows let it all shine in. Being December, we arrived in the dark & cold, but the cottage was warm when we arrived. Beds were comfy & bathroom clean & modern. Smart well appointed kitchen.

In the winter rain & dark, it took a little while to find the right cottage. A few stepping stones in the lawn would have helped to find it more quickly, plus a movement censor light. I'm guessing the nature of ownership may not allow some of these.

Superb

The setting has beautiful sea views. It is right next to the Donkey Sanctuary for the grandchildren to enjoy. The cottage is well equipped and ideal for what we need.

Very little not to like other than the communal areas of the overall site are a bit run down.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Keeper's cottage very much

We've stayed at Keeper's cottage with my husband and two kids. The location is really lovely! The cottage is overlooking the sea (beautiful view!) and has a field that is very well looked after in front of it. The cottage itself is lovely, very spacious, kitchen is very well equipped!

I was a bit surprised the cottage was not as clean as we expected. Webs here and there, window sills not properly dusted. (I'd recommend to change the cleaner as I know the cottage had been cleaned for our arrival!) We also couldn't make our dishwasher work, but it didn't matter much afterall. The seaview compensated for everything!

An excellent stay helped by the good weather. We are considering returning sometime next year.

Location was excellent. Very quiet. Good sea views. Large, safe play area for the grandchildren. Donkey Sanctuary would be a bonus when open. Beds were very comfortable and the layout was user friendly. Well equipped with all kitchen essentials.

The cleanliness of the cottage was not fantastic. Lots of debris under the single beds. Smear marks on the bathroom mirror. A lack of a freezer was a problem as we had brought specific frozen foodstuffs for a dietary issue with one of our grandchildren. This meant it spoiled and we had to do some extra shopping.

Great accommodation, but immediate location disappointing.

Accommodation clean and tidy plus well equipped. Close to seaside towns.

An oasis in an otherwise run-down and tatty holiday park with nothing to offer. Fortunately it is close enough to neighbouring seaside villages and towns. The accommodation itself was very good. No freezer compartment in the fridge.
