A fantastic, tranquil, catered for chalet that was welcoming, homely and relaxing.

The hosts were fantastic! We arrived to fresh scones, cream, jam and milk. When the guest was aware I was coeliac she even offered to bring me round gf scones! Nothing was a bother. The location was super close to Seaton which is a lovely little town and beach. The chalet had everything you could need including an air fryer and pet bowls. Lovely clean and well presented decking area which on sunny days was so peaceful to sit out on and provided a little enclosed area that the dog could be free to roam in. Hot water on demand, and comfy sofas in the living area.

The twin beds could be comfier! :)Perhaps two new mattresses and a new duvet and bedding would make the whole experience outstanding :)

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The heating was extremely efficient - the chalet warmed up in a few minutes on a damp day, and it stayed warm. Plenty of utensils and pots in the kitchen, the WiFi behaved and the shower was good.

I found the mattress a bit uncomfortable - an old-style sprung one, which wakes you up when your partner turns over... A mattress topper would help.

Great base for Seaton

Lovely cream tea waiting on arrival. Very reasonable. 5 minute drive into Seaton beach and town. Most of the cooking things you need. Good prep knives, though only 4 forks (use 1 to prep food and you need to wash it up for 4 people to eat). Airfryer was also super handy. WiFi with Roku Option on the TV you can use to log into your Netflix IPlayer etc. Lots and lots of board games, water pistols, badminton (net broken not usable), kids loved them all! Parking right behind the chalet, 15 yards away. Easy for luggage and beach stuff. Garage next door, 1 minute walk, is super easy as a small convenience store.

Shower is very weak, but probably to be expected top of a hill in a caravan park. No plastic chopping boards for food prep. Only 1 glass and 1 bread board. No very large pot for family pasta/guests.

Spotless, modern but cosy, lovely grounds. Everything has been provided. Lovely bedding and towels etc. fitting and kitchenware in excellent condition.

Mattresses a little soft for my liking, and I found the shower tricky to regulate but once we found the happy setting all was fine.

A lovely chalet in very quiet and well maintained grounds. The chalet is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and the owners even left us scones with jam and cream to make our own cream tea. Good location for walking the coast path. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again.

The Chalet was absolutely beautiful, clean and so so welcoming. Everything has been thought of, the attention to detail is incredible. Felt just like home from home and we will 100% be back and recommend to anyone!

Everything. The whole place was fantasti. In a lovely peaceful setting. June had left, fresh flowers, milk, chocolates, wine, toilet roll. Everything you need was also provided. There was a garage with a shop, a 1 minute walk away, so anything you needed, including petrol, was right on your door step. We paid for electricity by a meter and only spent 2quid for 4 days. In all, the place was fanatic, would suit a family of four nicely. We were a family of three.

The chalet was spotless clean. So comfortable and cosy. Me and my daughter plus our two little dogs had a wonderful relaxing 3 day break. Will be telling family and friends how lovely the chalet is and hope to visit again soon. Many Thanks June

Perfect for what we needed. Very clean and the welcome gifts were lovely. Was the same price as the local Premier Inn but the kitchen area meant we could save money by eating in. Will definitely stay again.

A lovely and cosy chalet within short distance of Seaton town and beach

. chalet was lovely and within an enclosed compound where kids could play outside and still be safe . there was a petrol station right on doorstep where you can get quick necessities like bread, milk, eggs, etc. . fantastic location 5 minutes drive from Seaton beach . quick and easy drive to get to Beer beach . kitchen was stocked with neccesities like salt, sugar, oil, washing up liquid, etc. so we didn't have to bring our own . owner had left a sweet message with complimentary wine bottle for us . tv cupboard was stocked with dvds and board games . outdoor patio area was big enough to sit and enjoy the sunshine while watching kids play

. the electricity meter is coin operated and there was a constant anxiety that the charge will run out and we will have power loss. . the bedroom and bathroom doors are half folding type and the kids would often stub their toes on the folded doors. . hot water boiler was storage type rather than combi type so you need to remember to turn it on half an hour before needing a bath. But that may be down to us not being used to this kind of boiler.
