It was good that everything that you needed was there and that there was a pub just around the corner and the shops were not the far away
There was nothing that we did not really like but we did have a few issues which we did get in touch with the owners

Lovely furnishings, garden, great location, friendly neighbours.
No tall wardrobe to hang dresses, shower curtain was very awkward and hard not to wet the bathroom floor, nowhere to dry bath towels, no dishwasher.

This cottage has everything you need for an easy, relaxing stay. A good size fridge, a separate good size freezer, a washing machine and the things you'd expect such as kettle and cooking equipment as well as a teapot, cafetiere and good crockery. There was also a wall cupboard that was empty, so plenty of space for dry foods/other items. Outside there was a BBQ on the patio area. The bathroom is small but everything worked well, with a decent amount of hot water for 2 people to shower. The enclosed garden at the rear was lovely and kept our 16month old cocker spaniel contained! The furnishings and decor are lovely throughout. The host is helpful and responsive without being intrusive.
The rear garden has an apple tree overgrowing most of the lawn from next door and was a bit dicey at times with apples dropping unexpectedly! Also, the garden is enclosed but, with the cottage being the central cottage of a 3 cottage terrace it can lack privacy. However, there are shrubs growing on either side which should address some of this issue given a little more time to grow. There is no parking outside the property so unpacking and repacking the car means you get your steps in! This said, we visited just before school summer holidays and we were always able to find a parking space from as close as about 75m from the front gate to a maximum of 200m.
