A great place to discover Kirriemuir and the region around !

We have been very kindly welcomed by our host at The Gallery Flat. The appartment is comfy, on two levels, with a lot of space for a family of 4. The big kitchen with a direct access to the small garden is nice. A free parking is available just down the street and the local shops are nearby as well: very convenient! The location is perfect to discover the region, which deserves the trip for itself.

The facilities were top notch, everything you could need were provided Parking at bottom of hill large carpark

Minor but the door on the main double bedroom catch did not work so could only close the door to not shut it properly. Not an issue for us as were 2 couples who are good friends but other people who stay may be an issue to them.

This is a clean spacious and affordable place to stay with a friendly host

Location was ideal, Plenty of room, clean, Big kitchen area, Friendly host, Host went out of way to collect keys on departure. Lots of information and recommendations given regarding dining out. Would book again.

Parking was down a hill. Disabled daughter struggled with hill so had to drop her off then go park. Was driving when host messaged regarding keys so had a little wait to get in but she also went out of her way to come pick keys up.

Beautiful property in a great location

We loved the location of the property, a short walk into the town centre and a lovely park area. The flat is so much bigger than it looks in the photos. Maureen was there to meet us at the flat and gifted us eggs that her chicken had laid. There was everything in the flat that we needed for us to thoroughly enjoy our stay. Beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows and extra blankets in case we were cold.

The flat was very comfortable and felt like home from home, comfy beds , heating good. Plenty of kitchen utensils too.

Only downside was parking is not outside the flat but on a nearby car park.

Really enjoyed our visit will definitely stay here again. Great location lots of lovely walks, great wee town on the door step. Wonderful host that met us at the property and should us around the accommodation.

Only thing I can think of is that I don’t like plug in smell aromas as the trouble my sinus but that was ok as I just unplugged them.

Exceptional

Very comfortable and beautifully furnished flat. Everything we needed was on hand and a very welcoming bottle of prosecco in fridge too! Kirriemuir is a lovely wee town and flat is so handy for centre. There is a beautiful wee garden to sit out in in the sunshine and lovely walks in a park down hill from flat too. Maureen and her friend were very helpful and always on end of phone if needed.

Due to location and age of property there was no parking. Unloading car was tricky as we had to park up little side street used by others but as we only needed to do this twice it wasn't a huge issue. Large and free car park one minute down hill
