Hotel Füssen

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Füssen. Great, modern room with all the desired comfort, kind and helpful staff members and a very extensive and varied breakfast in the beautiful in-house restaurant. The hotel is located right in the middle of the historic centre. We had a relaxing evening stroll through the picturesque streets of Füssen before getting a good night's sleep.

The rooms were very clean and tidy with all the desired comfort (comfortable beds, refrigerator, television), but felt a bit 'empty'.

This was a bare-bones hotel experience. The room is a bit small with only room for a small table and one wooden chair. Also we were on the first floor next to the parking lot and chatter and noise from the kitchen was audible. That said, the bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The location in the altestadt is ideal. The breakfast was passable. About what you'd expect from a hotel free breakfast bar.

The hotel management is very friendly. We got an upgrade with the kids which is always amazing to get. Located directly in the city center you can roam around in Füssen as well, nice small town. We were visiting the castles in Schangau so ideal for our trip. Everything was great.

Couldnt figure out how to get the heating on but i was just lazy to ask so nothing really to complain about.

The parking was right next to the hotel and the manager was helpful. It was a two minute walk to the restaurants and bars.

We had a very strange set up of a room. It was very minimal with the furniture. As you opened the bedroom door you walked right to where the bed was and if you turned left along a corridor inside the room you eventually got to the bathroom. We have never stayed in a hotel with a room like it. Also it was very hot and there was no air conditioning.
