A great break that recharged my batteries to return to normality

The apartment immediately felt welcoming Parking was easy and near to the property. Certainly had wow factor home from home Everything I needed for my week stay. Host met me on arrival and was happy to answer any questions. Nice to know she was there but she respected my privacy. I stayed over xmas on my own but didn't feel lonely was warm and cosy Location great able to walk to supermarkets choice of 3 and retail park. Also only mile to walk into Stratford upon avon which is a big plus saving the stress and expense of parking.

Property small but perfectly acceptable for a short stay.

Good position for walking into the town centre (about 20 mins) Bed comfortable Parking Enough facilities if you feel the urge to do any cooking!

It’s just a small gripe, but one of the towels had bleach stains on it which didn’t look good. Bedroom and bathroom were nice and warm, but the sitting area got a bit cool in the evening. Noise from the toilet “going off” during the night was disturbing, but this may be a problem the owner doesn’t know about. No information pack for how things work in the property.

a pleasant stay all in all

the location of the apartment was ideal for stratford upon avon central. It was very quite and peaceful at the apartment which was lovely.

the apartment was small which was ok for a few days but the amount of small pieces of furniture in a confined space was cluttered. also in the shower room fixtures needed attention such as the loose sink tap and the shower riser was insecure.

This was a very comfortable ground floor apartment. Everything we needed. The host was very friendly and the room was clean and ready on arrival. The host generously provided some little essentials which made us feel welcome.

Super Stratford Upon Avon Stay!

Great location, and lovely quiet, private accommodation with parking on premises. Good communication from the host and ease to locate and access keys. This is one of the nicest, comfy and well stocked apartments I have stayed in and very spacious. Lovely to arrive to a small surprise of goodies and tea and coffee facilities. It was a fantastic place to relax after returning from our days out in the town. Would definitely return and recommend! :)

Perfection thy name is Oakleigh

I contacted Sharon, asking if we could park on the drive earlier in the day so that we could explore the area before check-in. Sharon kindly agreed, and upon arrival, she met us and informed us that she had prepared the apartment ready for us to go into straight away. This wonderful surprise and thoughtfulness set the tone for the whole stay. Upon entering, both my husband and I were overwhelmed by the beautiful furnishings, practical and purposeful lay out of the kitchen. A full double oven, microwave, air fryer, toaster, and dishwasher, fridge, and freezer with all the utensils and pans, etc, you could possibly need. Even a beautiful afternoon tea service. A lovely tea tray was set on the side with tea, coffee, sugars, and a small bottle of milk in the fridge, along with 2 bottles of water There was also a lovely breakfast hamper on the opposite counter. All cleaning products, tea towels, and hand/bath towels were provided. There is a door to a small laundry room with a wonderful ceiling mounted/pulley airer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and tabletop press, including cleaning products The bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable, firm bed with lovely feather pillows and cushions. We take our own pillows as I have arthritis in my neck and need firm support. The shower is a lovely temperature with a choice of rainfall or traditional showerhead. There is a sliding door that has a slightly narrow aperture for those of us who carry extra weight or large breasts. I'm a size 16 and 40GG and got in fine. There is a lovely garden with a table and 2 chairs outside the patio doors to enjoy the sun. The garden is shared with a door from Sharon's home, which is attached, BUT we never saw her and never felt watched at all. The drive has ample space and is easy to drive onto and reverse off. If you want to leave the car it is very well located.

We enjoyed our stay and the weather was lovely during our short stay.

The property is in a good location for Stratford and surrounding area. It is equipped with everything you need and lots of essential goodies to get you started to help you enjoy your break without having to go shopping.

The property was ok only comment the side door access to the property was in need of repair as the wood post was coming away from the wall making it difficult to close. My husband who has walking difficulties did find the step quite high into the apartment.

The size, it was perfect and plenty actually. there’s a lovely living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. I loved how cozy and welcoming the place felt. It also smelled amazing. The little breakfast tray she had for us in the kitchen was a surprise we weren’t expecting so this was a very nice gesture. The lady who welcomed us was super nice and friendly and was very respectful of our privacy. The place was located in a very quiet residential area which was not too far from the centre which made it Perfect for us. Thank you!

I personally would have preferred white towels, white bed sheet and white bathroom mats. This would have made me more comfortable and trusting of the cleanliness. The floors needed a bit wiping and sweeping, but otherwise the place was spotless and smelled amazing. It felt like home in there. Maybe I expected a pair of disposable slippers too. or maybe this is just a bit too much to ask in a guesthouse.

Small apartment that needs customer priority & TLC

First impressions were very good with high standard of finish. Welcome pack was a nice touch. Kitchen was well equipped & easy parking.

Very small apartment with too much furniture. Small but important details missing such as an information pack ( operating child lock on gas hob ; WiFi password) which meant we had to ring the owner. Some areas require maintenance: kitchen pan drawer broken, radiator valves missing, shower fixture loose, TV remote broken. Lack of customer priority: woken on departure day at 7.50am for someone to collect a chair that the owner had sold; 9.30am same day new washing machine was delivered!!

Perfect quiet mid week getaway

It was everything that we expected with a bonus of some breakfast too. It was very well laid out and was complete with air fryer, dishwasher and washing machine (not that we used them). Very peaceful and ideal for a quiet getaway with every type of shop on your doorstep. Only a 20 walk into Stratford

Lovely, clean apartment in extension off large house. Lovely and warm. Good hot shower. Kitchen, good facilities. Bed very comfortable. Lounge comfy. French doors from lounge look out on to lovely paved garden. Had breakfast watching the squirrels. Great parking on site One straight toad into centre. Good retail park on route to centre tk maxi, m&s food, matalan, next. If driving anyone into town multi storey car park behind, tourist info. Owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Doors to shower entrance quite narrow. More cutlery needed. Was worried we may break what looked like expensive crockery, liteweight cheaper crockery would ge good.

Great Venue

What a lovely place to stay! You won't be disappointed. It was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable. A nice little extra treat with a hamper of goodies to eat. The host is a lovely lady and very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Sharon. It is only a 20 minute walk to the town centre with plenty of shops nearby. I would highly recommend this place to stay!

Just brilliant, everything you could want in accomodation.

The comfort, decor and general set up was excellent. Everything you could want was there, full kitchen, comfy lounge, great bed and easily accessible shower. The owner Sharon was very friendly and had left a basket of goodies including chocolates, cereal and nibbles. Very much appreciated.
