Lovely welcoming and helpful owner of the property.

It's a decent walk into Fort Augustus which is fine....unless its chucking it down and you're too dumb to talk a brolly!

Right from greeting on arrival through to departure I could not fault this property room was large and comfortable fixtures and fittings were high quality including the bedding bathroom is large with great powerful shower both room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was freshly prepared with quality ingredients Looking forward to staying again next time I am in the area thank you Anne

The location is beautiful, the house is well equipped and nicely decorated, and Anne, the host is always available, caring and hospitable.

We booked Carn A Chuilinn without prior recommendation, relying purely on the comments of people who had stayed there previously - it was deservedly highly rated. In our opinion Ann Nicholson, our hostess, provides a home from home. I can't praise her enough. We received a reassuring welcome and stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. I understand that Carn A Chuliinn also has self catering accommodation available. The breakfast was excellent and if Ann reads this I'd just like her to know that we now make our porridge to her recipe instead of microwaving. She has lived in the area all her life so is very knowledgeable about what to see and do and the best places to dine. Nothing was too much trouble for her. My wife and I are in our very late 70's, but Ann was like a Scottish mother to us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carn A Chuilinn to anybody seeking accommodation in the Highlands. Unfortunately, I didn't take any golf clubs with me this year and Fort Agustus golf club is just a very short walk away!

The room had everything you needed for a perfect stay, the host was friendly and looked after us so well. Bed was super comfy and shower was powerful.

If you are staying anywhere near Loch Ness, Carn A Chuilinn is the perfect hidden gem! This property was so charming! Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. And our breakfast every morning was delicious!! Anne was such a wonderful host and took great care of us during our stay! She also provided us with great suggestions of things to do in the area and went above and beyond to make our birthday weekend special! Next time we are in Scotland we will definitely be back to visit!

Lovely landlady. We were able to organize dinner with tableware and cutlery in the dining room instead of going to the restaurant. Very quiet.

One more electric plug in the room , if possible.

Nice size room. Accessibility to other rooms and plenty of parking. Room was large, comfortable, and clean. Anne was a great hostess. We felt like family.

We loved the warm welcome from Anne with tea and cake. Our room was very comfortable with many touches that spoke of care and attention to detail. The continental breakfast was delicious and caused an instagramable photo to be taken as it was so beautifully presented!

Anne was an excellent host, the b&b was spotless and extremely comfortable. Breakfast each morning was great and the perfect start to the day. Everything was thought of, and Anne couldn't have been more accommodating.

Great location to Port August. The breakfast was excellent. We had the first-floor room, and it was very nice and quiet. The hostess was very helpful on restaurants and things to do in the area. She explained the red squirrel signs!! Thanks for a great trip. We went to see the locks.

We enjoyed our stay. Anne is a great host and the home was warm, comfortable and well-furnished. We mostly enjoyed sharing a cup of coffee with Anne at breakfast and learning some about the Scottish highlands.

Great host, very friendly. Really nice breakfast, fruit salad and yogurt, eggs, croissants and a selection of meats and cheeses. It made a change from fried breakfasts.

Bed was a little creaky but everything else was excellent
