Absolutely wonderful

Absolutely wonderful accommodation in the center of Modena. Beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped apartment with a large room and air conditioning. There is a market with fresh food right next to the accommodation. We would also like to thank the owner, who helped us retrieve our lost suitcase.

beautiful apartment, loved the theme of the globes furniture, very elegant. It was in a great location too. I was grateful for the host providing coffee, exactly what I needed in the morning!

The bedding was damp and clammy and after sending a message to the host, he provided me with just a duvet replacement which didn't fit the bed and it was also damp and clammy. I removed the pillow casing but it was still damp and clammy. I also didn't understand why I had to pay the tourist tax in cash, as the previous accommodation in Parma was €1 less and I paid by card. the host here in Modena told me that it was not possible to pay with card, I found that a bit strange.

Vintage house in the center of Modena

The location of the apartment is the best. Super central right between the central square and the cathedral and the local food market.

The house is very noisy. You can hear everything from the street but also from the other rooms. Even though it has a private bathroom as advertised, the bathroom is in the common areas and not in the room, making it a bit uncomfortable. We thought the rooms are independent with the bathroom en suite and only the kitchen dinning area would be shared.

Brilliant location in the city centre and next to the famous market where we had breakfast every morning.

We liked the cosy feel to such a large room, the antique furniture and decor. the kitchen was well appointed, even though we didn’t have much need for the facilities. a lovely welcome from the host.

Excellent location, clean, comfortable and very good value for money

Casa Mappamondo is located in the most central and beautiful area of Modena, 1 minute from Ghirlandina and most of the other touristic attractions. The room was very clean, with a very good wifi, bathroom and kitchen are amazingly efficient and the landlord is the kindest person, caring and welcoming. Overall this is an excellent place to stay which I truly recommend.

very cosy and spacious room with antique furniture. the flat is located in the very downtown of Modena. the host was very kind and flexible in terms of checkin and leaving luggage after checkout.

No elevator, a few stairs to 2nd floors, not suitable for people carrying heavy luggage and it's a shared apartment, thought it was a private apartment.

Superb

Lovely appartment in the center of the city (literally), market hall right around the corner, main plaza around the other. The appartments main theme is the globe (mappamondo) which there are many of. There are 2 rooms (that I know of) and each room has a small, clean bathroom designated to it (which, fyi, is not directly attached to the room, so you are the only one who is using it, but you have to go outside of your room to enter it down the hallway). The rooms are spacious, and there is a shared kitchen and a spacious diner table worthy of a manor if you desire to cook something. All in all, would recommend if you decide to stay in this city.

The location of this property is amazing! Right above the market and 50metres from the piazza grande. Such a clean room and lovely hosting! Would recommend for a trip to Modena

Slightly noisy from the market in the morning, however ear plugs are provided which dealt with the problem great 👍

Location was fantastic. The interior design is excellent all was comfortable.

The only issues are that the bathroom and bedroom are separated by the common areas and there is a bit of noise from the street and market below but this is unavoidable if you want to stay so centrally

Absolutely the best location in Modena! 50 meters from the Modena Duomo (central Cathedral) and 15 meters from the Market Albinelli ! Every Italian specialty from fruits to Fish from Cheese to fish to prosciutto and Salami to Bred and Wines and Beer! Best prices in Town!

That I had ti leave! But I will soon return with my beloved! Every morning 5 meters away you start your day with an Italian Cappuccino and a croissant! simply perfect!

Friendly host, cool decor and a spacious room with a large comfy bed. Room was equipped with a portable fan that was helpful during the night. Modern bathroom and an unbeatable location right in the heart of Modena, with cafes and a fresh market right below the apartment.
