Hotel is very central and close to the causeway coming in to the town - for driving its actually simple but doesn't feel like it as the streets are narrow and quite a lot of people walking, but extremely close to the causeway when driving back out to park or when leaving. Staff directed us to the car park on other side of causeway and we drove back out there but decided it was too far for us and parked in the town park haus - expensive for 2 days 52 euro but really close to the hotel. Had a nice room on the 2nd floor - the stairs are quite steep! Very close to everything in the town once you get your bearings. Very good breakfast in the hotel restaurant - we didn't have dinner there but seems to be extremely popular - first night we saw people being turned away as they were full, so book if you want to eat there. Staff are nice but no hotel reception so check in and queries etc in restaurant. Lindau is lovely - easy to walk around island and a lot of cafes / restaurants
Stairs. Quite a bit of noise at night - but as most cafes / bars etc close relatively early unsure where people coming from. Hard to see hotel entrance when coming in at night - no lights in the small square
