Our stay was very pleasant!

It was in the heart of the village close to restaurants and transportation. Our room had a terrace that overlooked a church and surrounding area. The concierges were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved our night stay.

Unpretentious but fabulous hotel...this is a wee gem in Lindau Insel.

Everything! Family run small hotel. Friendly, welcoming. Great breakfast...continental style but also scrambled eggs. with crispy bacon!! Rooms smallish but compact. We overlooked the courtyard so it was very quiet. NO AC but a good little fan and we love sleeping with an open window anyway.

We loved this hotel and we loved Lindau.

The welcome on arrival was 5* and we were given so much helpful information with charm and humour. Also excellent English. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, our room was enormous and we would highly recommend the hotel.

There was no AC. The fan helped in the heat but the room did get warm.

Overall nice, friendly place to stay on the island of Lindau.

The hotel is nicely located at the (car) entrance to the island of Lindau, a large public parking garage is nearby, where I could recharge my electric car. The room was tidy and clean, though not very cosy, but I guess that's a matter of taste, and there was too much to do about the island to spend much time inside anyway. We had a room on the third floor in the part of the building with no elevator. When travelling with folks who don't climb stairs so well anymore, make sure to check with the staff when booking the room. I found the beds were above-average comfortable. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and fresh food, the staff very comforting and hospitable. All in all, the stay was a nice experience, I would not doubt recommending the place to family and friends.

Wonderful time at Garni Brugger that entirely met our exceptions and we wished for a longer stay!

The proprietors and staff were superbly welcoming, answered our many questions, made suggestions for outings, and looked after us exceptionally well. Our needs were well met, and we'd definitely visit again!

I can't think of anything we didn't like about Hotel Garni Brugger.

Brilliant location, wonderful hosts

Fantastic location. Lindau Insel Station was a 5-7min walk. The hosts are extremely welcoming, They speak English and German which was very helpful for my husband who doesn't speak a lot of German. The room were huge! And they were warm. There's a restaurant in the next building. A few food shops within 2-3mins walk. Including Netto for cheap shopping.

Breakfast was decent, but I expected a bit more variety. The bacon and scrambled eggs get getting over very soon. And I found sausages only one day. Not much of a complain here, just that some more variety would've taken the experience that extra mile.
