It was comfortable and we loved the garden unit setting of our room. The breakfast was excellent quality with a wide variety.

Comfortable bed, quiet location
From the reviews and pictures I was expecting better. The staff that checked me in and served dinner were very friendly and accommodating but that was the highlight
The shower in my room leaked badly, and in the morning there was no hot water available in the room.
Evening meal was pleasant enough but not exceptional ( as a number of reviews stated)
However, at breakfast I arrived to find the restaurant area full and no available seating. No staff to assist, waited 10 minutes then sat in the bar. The breakfast was average, a lot of the items not replenished ( this was 1 hour in to breakfast service). Eventually someone asked if I wanted coffee and eggs.
I think they were clearly understaffed and struggling to cope
At check out, the woman on the reception was unfriendly, and was obviously just keen for me to be dealt with and gone. I’m hoping she was just having a bad morning!
On my three week trip of various European countries this was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive hotel I stayed in, but is near the bottom in terms of value for money.
