Perfect base for exploring bay of kotor

The host met us on arrival and showed us everything. While they don’t live at the property, they are always available to help with any questions and can give good recommendations for the area. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equiped. The balcony offered stunning sea views. The beach is only a few steps away and there are chairs and umbrellas available at the house so nothing is missing for a relaxing day at the water. Kotor is a short drive away and definitely worth a visit, but we also really enjoyed walking around Stoliv, which is very pretty and much less busy.

I liked the quick response to requests by the apartment owner. I liked the cleanliness of the apartment and the availability of all the necessary amenities for tourists. I loved the stunning sea view, especially in the morning with a cup of coffee.

I didn’t like that there was no carpet on the floor, as the weather was cold.

Cool aparment with a nice view and a lovely host

Beautiful view, and had all the necessary things for a short getaway. The host was super friendly as well.

Parking was not the best - it was a narrow dirt space on the side of the only road that goes around the lake. At least it was close to the apartment.

Perfect spot to live like a local

The owner got a local guy, Anto, to take us directly from the patio right in front of the house to visit the Lady of the Rocks island and a tour of the Kotor Bay. His small fishing boat afforded us a leisure pace around the bay in a beautiful sunny day. Anto dropped us off at Perast, where we had the best grilled octopus in the entire trip. After lunch and a casual stroll through the little town, Anto picked us back up and ferried us back to the house patio. The view from our balcony was pretty amazing also, if you are too lazy to go down to the patio by the water. The owner was responsive and left some items we needed, such as garbage bags, on our door steps, while we were boating. I highly suggest this place, so long as you drive well through the meandering narrow in these small fishing villages. There is a bus system that stops in front of the house also to take you around the bay. Not sure if they have unlimited rides for a set fee. If so, that would be perfect to get off as one wishes, and check out all the pretty little towns and villages, and not have to worry about the difficult driving.

Wi-Fi is slow and sporadic, but it's possible the whole bay might have similar problems. Also, it might be good to unplug and enjoy the view! Quite a number of steps to climb with large luggage, but it's expected in old local houses, and the owners husband was kind enough to help us with that. This house is newly renovated with most amenities you expect.

the hosts are so kind, lovely, helpfull couple. the apartment was so clean and we found everything we needed. There was parking area everytime. Taking some drink at the balcony with lovely view was great. We were really happy in this apartment and felt at home.

Excellent apartment with sea view, there is a kitchen with everything you need. Everything is very clean, comfortable bed. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, 15-20 minutes walk there is a grocery store. Gorgeous view around: the sea and the mountains. Birdsong in the morning. Very satisfied!

Just a suggestion for other guests: if you come from Croatia or Bosnia by car, take the ferry route. Don't drive all around the bay to get at the accommodation. Route is very small at times.

Refreshing stay with a beautiful view of the bay

Hosts were very accomodating and explained everything that I needed to know, suggested local places for me to check out. They were even kind enough to pick me up from the bus station when there was no bus available. The place itself was well kept and has a beautiful view of the bay.

The commute is a bit challenging but aside from that, everything else was smooth sailing.

Most Incredible Hosts in Stoliv

Wonderful wonderful hosts, went out of their way to help us and make sure we were comfortable, helped with bags, moved our car. Just really wonderful people. Beautiful beautiful view and literally a stone throw from the sea.

The only issue was that we were traveling with a baby and great grandmother and there are quite a lot of stairs to climb , I should have asked beforehand but that was the literal only thing that was a bit stressful

perfect accomodation in a quiet area in the Bay of Kotor

the property was very clean with a modern touch. It has a terrass with a partly view of the lake and also a rooftop. It’s situated in a nice tranquille area not far from Kotor itselve. The owners were very friendly and helpfull.

Lovely surroundings at a good price

Great location looking out into the Kotor bay, Kotor old Town is about 15 min drive away for restaurants and there's a supermarket a 5 min drive away. The owners were very helpful and it was great to have a washing machine.

Our only suggestion for improvement would be a longer shower curtain as the current one has a 30cm gap at the bottom so the whole bathroom floor gets soaked every time someone takes a shower.

Great apartment, good price and nice views.

It was an apartment by Kotor Bay and had a great view of the bay. Also it had a rooftop patio and a balcony. It was not right in town but we had a car so we were mobile everyday anyways so that was not a problem or even nicer to be in a quiet area. Only thing about the locations is that there is a mountain right behind us to the west so we got shade earlier in the late afternoon that places across the bay. The owners are very friendly and gave us a whatsapp contact number so we could keep in touch if needed. The apartmant had a full kitchen and some basic supplies in the kitchen like coffee, sugar and salt so we just had to bring food.
