Anton Hostel connecting people!

My experience was wonderful. It's a magical place. The best part is the spacious common areas where we also cook. You can watch dreamy sunsets on the terrace. The staff is always friendly and smiling, ready to help! The prices are unbeatable in Tivat.

The music schedule ends very early but we were able to use the common area with moderate volume.

Fine but not my bag

Really good price point for Tivat

I wanted a quiet hostel for one night before my flight back - unfortunately this was a little too social/party for me. Also small and fairly dirty kitchen. But nice staff. I was advised that I’d need to get a bus to the airport - luckily I managed to walk to the centre then get a boat, saving myself money. Just a tip for future reference!

A nice place to stay with great staff

One of the best staff I've ever met while traveling. Cool bar/leisure area, nice views from the top terrace. Rooms were clean (I stayed in all-girls room), washing facilities were also in good state and clean. The shortcut to/from the house made the walk much faster and less strenuous in the heat of this summer.

Nothing that stands out. The experience was entirely positive 🙂

Amazing

The hostel was homely and I met the best people here. The rooftop is stunning for sunset, and had a lovely dinner cooked by the owner. There’s always someone to have a drink with and have some fun. Shout out to Josey who checked me in then become a new friend, you made my time at Anton amazing. Would definitely recommend to friends!!!

Lively when you want it, Relaxing when you need it

I absolutely loved the vibe of this Hostel. The bungalow style lounge area is soooo inviting - they are always playing good music and the sofas are super comfortable with plenty of seating areas to relax, dine, or interact with others. I would return to this place again just for this chill zone of a lounge. There is a really large terrace on the rooftop which Is wonderful and offers a beautiful view. The staff there is also really friendly and memorable, along with the owner, they all made our stay (that we kept extending!) very comfortable, smooth, and accommodating. I stayed in three different rooms while I was there so they ranged in differences but all of them were clean and tidy and comfortable.

The kitchen is a bit limited in terms of space, but as long as youre not planning on cooking a multi course meal it is sufficient. There is a large fridge tho at least!

The staff were amazing so accommodating and welcoming. Everyone you meet at the hostel were super friendly and keen to make memories. Highly recommend staying at this hostel.

Perfect

I had a great stay! The hostel has such a positive energy. The staff even organized a barbecue, which was super fun and a great way to meet people. Everyone was kind, helpful, and made me feel very welcome. The rooftop is beautiful, with an incredible view — perfect for relaxing. I stayed in the female dorm with a balcony, and everything was spotless and well organized. Highly recommend!

Don’t recommend it!

It is very far from everywhere, and plus on the hill, so you would have to climb for about 20 mins from city. Mattresses are terrible, and bonus is bed bugs. The positive is the rooftop- nice view there, and it’s quite clean, I guess for this money it’s alright

Good for a short stay

Nice hostel with communal rooms and some private rooms. There were a rooftop terrace. Hostel were in a good location for us, close to the beginning of the hiking trail. We hiked over the Vrmac mountain to Kotor.

the Best place in tivat

I Love this hostel. first of all Manager Rodrigo and other volunteers always there to help to you. they listen and care what u need. its close to city center and sea side. the roof has amazing view. hostel is clean and have enough facilities. it's good to be here again.

The staff, the atmosphere, the people co-living there. Everything was very cozy and welcoming

I would definitely come again

Really friendly and helpful staff trying to arrange everything as fast as possible. They kindly answered all my questions. Very hospitable and welcoming vibe. You can even play pool billard and rent bikes. Fair prices

My bed was in places broken. The hostel is located quite far from the city centre and around 4km away from the bus station

Overall a good stay and a really pleasant alternative to the prices of Kotor !

The common spaces are really homelike and great to hang out in ! There is air conditioning in the room which is a must in summer times

It was not the cleanest place I’ve stayed at but the main problem were the bathrooms that are really not suited for common use (no hooks, no cover on the bin …)

Really recommend this place! I extended my stay multiple times

- the staff are amazing! They made me feel so at home and were there to help me with anything at all - the common area is really cozy. There’s a pool table, good atmosphere, equipped kitchen, free coffee and tea and an outdoor area as well - spacious roof terrace - good breakfast and love the family style dinners

- some areas are a bit older but everything is clean

DIRTY AND WITH PESTS! It was the worst hostel I have ever been to in my entire life. (Even in comparison to shady hostels in Bangkok or Katmandu). I guess there are so many tourists in Tivat, that the owner doesn't care at all if their guests are getting parasites. They can get away with anything. After checking opinions on Google, we found someone complaining about bed bugs. The owner replied to those coments claiming that these must have been spider bites. We checked our entire room. It was FILTHY. Bed sheets were washed, but the room itself was in horrible condition. Lots of dust, stains and spiders. The bed was an old foldable couch with a mattress on top. Underneath the mattress in the folds of the coach we found dried pieces of food, and a couple of tiny insects (probably book lice?). Then it turned out we had cockroaches!!! We wanted to cancel our stay, but they just moved us to a different room. I didn't see signs of pests, but the room was also very dirty. Only the bedsheets were cleaned. I couldn't fall asleep the entire night. I checked other opinions on Google. Owner was lying about mosquitoes. Lots of guests were complaining about bed bugs and dirt. You can even find clear pictures of bed bugs found in this apartment. The owner says only "I am sorry", but the complaints reappear every year, so that means nothing changes. I have spent half of the night stressed, and watching documentaries about pests. You can get them even i clean apartments, but this one is clearly not clean. I am not picky about any stays, but parasites are a big NO for me. Luckily there were no bed bugs in our room, but you may be less lucky. Remember that a better hotel costs only 10-20€, but if a pest travels with you to your house, getting rid of it may require hundreds of €, and getting rid of all the furniture. I wish I had seen realistic photos of this place before I booked it.

Comfortable bed, big room, quiet, nice and big common area with tv and loads place to chill alone or with company.

The water heater was broken which I was not informed about and was not easy to take comfortable shower. Facilities need to be repaired and looked after better. Not easy to find (the location does not match accurately with the maps.me)

Perfect social hostel in Tivat

I had a great stay in this hostel. The people are very cool and friendly! It’s got a huge comfortable common area to hang out including pool table. Also a very beautiful rooftop with a stunning view to the Bay. Definitely recommend it!!
