I recommend this property.

Location (15 min drive from Kotor). We had a car so it worked well for us. Very nice, clean apartment with amazing balcony view. The host was very nice, answered all our questions and gave very good tips.

Good but could be better

We realy liked the location and view of the apartment.

There was sewage smell in the apartment which was really terrible especially at night while sleeping in the main bedroom. And one night there was a mosquito "attack" that we spent the night killing them and collecting.

Stylish accommodation in a quiet and scenic area of Kotor Bay

Building is away from a busy road and therefore peaceful which we like. Birdsong very nice as plenty of trees around with very good views of the Bay of Kotor . We enjoyed watching the cruise ships arriving and departing. We use buses so it is convenient for bus stops both directions, which are just down the short lane from the accommodation. There is a small shop within 10 minutes walking along the idyllic beach front. There are a few supermarkets en route to Kotor itself so no need to go into Kotor where it can be very busy with traffic and tourists. Alexander, the host, was efficient in telling us information about the buses and amenities in the surrounding area. The apartment we had for 4 nights was stylish, spacious and we were able to cook on the hob. We didn't use the dishwasher as the sink area is adequate. We walked to St George church about a mile away or so. We also caught a Blueline bus to Perast which is very picturesque but can be heavy with tourists, just like Kotor, so choose your time! It all depends what type of holiday you want, although lying on a beach sunbathing and swimming is obviously a delight here at certain times of the year. There are boat trips, walking possibilities and scenic sightseeing in this area. The village is called Orahovac which is a charming, quiet - through road traffic notwithstanding - an unassuming place which stands in stark contrast to the surging tourist crowds of Kotor town and Perast ( mainly from the cruise ships that dock in the Bay every day) so it depends on what you want from a holiday on the Bay of Kotor.

Although the heavy traffic on the main road was, for us, too busy, it does not affect the location of these apartments.

Great Place, Great Value

Very friendly and responsive Host, spotlessly clean and great View, spacious place.Alex was amazing. Would definitely recommend as a budget friendly option in the Kotur area .

Since it's a bit away from town, once it's dark you cannot walk on the road as there are no street lights and nearby shops close as early as 7 pm ,so you need to drive about 5 minutes to a supermarket to get your stuff.

Lovely accommodation in quiet place

We really liked our accommodation. This villa is very cozy and locates close to the sea. You can easily walk to the beach in 5-7 minutes. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance. We had a large room under the roof with two bedrooms. Everything was clean, white beddings and towels. But the most important thing is the best view from the balcony. It’s breathtaking. I swear ❤️

1. No BBQ area outside. 3. The balcony is narrow to use it for eating there, rather just sit on a chair with a beautiful view. 5. Weak Wi-Fi signal. 7. The shower door lets water through and it spills onto the bathroom floor. 9. No vacuum cleaner, no coffee machine. 10. For those who has large suitcases, it will not be easy to take them to the third floor. 11. There is no sign with the name of the apartment on the house 12. The house is located on a hill and getting to it by car and then park the car will require skill and experience from the guests. Not easy.

The host was super nice and welcoming. The apartment was really spacious and clean and the view from the balcony was really breathtaking. We loved that the location was precisely in the middle of Kotor and Perast and we truly had a blast.

The matras was a bit hard and the pillows too soft, but that is personal preference.

Clean house with great owner and a really nice view

We've stayed in many places in our Albania-Montenegro trip. And Villa Aronija was our favorite because it was super clean and its view was so nice. Also the owner was so nice, he recommended us what to do around Kotor. The house was large enough for two. There are many kitchen tools that you can use. And the balcony is so nice. You can have a coffee with sea view and bird tweets. They had a small garden with nice smell of orange and mandarin trees. They had Aronija plants too, of course. I sincerely recommend you to stay there.

great apartment with killer view

Comfortable spotless clean apartment with very good bed and a killer view of the bay. We had a fantastic and restful stay in the apartment. All was easy. Nothing was a problem. You do need a car though, in my opinion, which we had. And the man in charge - Alexandre was always very helpful and respectful. We highly recommend the place and we would definitely stay there again!

I wouldn't say "we didn't like it" - as I said all was great, really. The only thing that would make our stay a bit better would be to have some salt and pepper and some cooking oil. The lack thereof did not stop us from giving the apartment a very easy 10 points. To be honest, we didn't ask for it, perhaps we should have and we would have got it. It really was one of the best places I stayed in ever.

Apartments are great! Clean and well maintained. Photos are relevant. Beautiful mountain view, I wish that room had a terrace to enjoy it fully. Comfortable bed with good mattress and two(!) pillows - if you cant stand big pillows like me you can use just one :) nice and quiete place overall!

the only issue is a bit slow internet for sending big files. So if you need to work it can be problematic. Just have a vacation :)

Amazing host, amazing place, amazing view

First of all our host was absolutely amazing. He offered a lot of great information, about local and regional attractions, transportation, and restaurants. He went as far as installing some Romanian TV channels. The room was very clean, everything seemed to be new and the mountain view, in spite of the bay being on the other side of the building, was breathtaking. The location is very quiet and we think we were the only ones there for our first few nights. We had such a good time that we decided to stay an extra night over there.

There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom after using the shower. As far as we know, sewage problems are common in that part of the country.
