Good location for getting g to and from city centre on the bus

My needs were strongly influenced by an intolerable heat wave and being an older guest. The guest house went out of their way to help me in different ways and checked up on me that I had everything I needed.

The owner and staff were lovely, welcoming, and made sure I always had milk for my in-room coffee! My room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable - I slept well! The property is about 2km from the train station and 3km from the center of Cambridge, which I found very walkable; there's also a bus that stops very close to the property. The property is on a somewhat busy street, which is very quiet at night. Grocery stores, pub, and a couple of appealing-looking Turkish takeaway places right nearby.
