Room was clean, but cold. Despite adjusting the thermostat, it was difficult to increase the temperature. Parts of the hotel downstairs were also cold, especially the overflow dining room .

Fruit for yoghurt was frozen solid. Jam dispenser was empty, bacon burnt, no mushrooms/no eggs, no batches, bar beer glasses on table from night before.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Service We had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Cambridge. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff throughout our visit. The rooms were okay, and provided everything except drinking water. Breakfast was organised with a good selection, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and efficient. The location is convenient for accessing Cambridge and surrounding areas, making it a great option for both leisure and business travellers. Overall, a reliable and comfortable stay, and we would happily stay here again.

I just want to praise Candice on reception when we checked in. She was exceedingly helpful and understanding in trying to find a suitable room for us. She dealt with it very professionally and we couldn't have asked for it to be dealt with any better.

The room was clean with basic amenities, and the bed was reasonably comfortable, though for someone used to sleeping on a very soft mattress, I found it a little firm for my tastes. There was a comprehensive selection for breakfast, which was pleasing to see. The quality was lacking, but given that it was included with the stay, I cannot complain too much. Overall, the value was superb.

Asked for toasted sandwich cooked on one side not nice at all breakfast not what can I say I had to have corn flakes and croissants my girlfriend had toast only she didn’t like the look off the cooked breakfast and other people well fat people take the piss eating all they can really the klumps really were in town stuffing themselves

Friendly reception staff and the room was clean and tidy. The room heating control was not easy to understand and did not appear to work when adjusted. Limited evening meal choice and the meal I had was not good. The green beans were not cooked properly, hard and cold and the chicken was smothered in sauce, instead of allowing you to choose how much you want yourself. So would not recommend eating a meal here.

The room was fine. Modern and clean. Bathroom and shower worked perfectly and were very clean. The downside was the quality of food at breakfast. The orange juice tasted more like orange squash. I had to leave a cup of cappuccino as it tasted curdled. The black americano was very acidic but just about drinkable. The granola had very little fruit and no nuts in it but there was autumn berries to add to it. No good quality bread so I gave that a miss. The cooked breakfast was ok but the croisant was quite poor. A little annoyed at having to pay for car parking even though it was only £5 with the coupon.

Clean room though was tired looking, TV had missing pixels so everyone looked like there heads had been cut off. Room was quite dark as one main light in the corner of the room. Breakfast was good, bar was well stocked and usual hotel prices

Staff were excellent as I had to extend my stay twice so staff were ale to arrange for me to stay in the same room. Breakfast was very enjoyable and varied. Did not have an evening meal or bar service. Only downside was phone reception in the room/hotel was non-existent and TV channels need updating as I had to spend a lot of my time in the room
