Everything I needed

Overall everything was very good. The host was very nice and helpful and because I had mobility issues was given a downstairs room which I was grateful for. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. On suite excellent. Had everything I needed for my short stay.

The room was a little on the chilly side. I'm sure the continental breakfast was nice but not for me so did not order. A simple alternative choice maybe would have been nice but not an issue.

Had a great stay here, it was exactly what I needed. No frills but very clean. Host was very friendly and approachable.

Very nice hotel.

Friendly helpful staff. Comfy bed. Very well situated in Cambridge. Nice cafes and pubs nearby. A short walk from cinema, music venues and not far from town. Also walkable to Granchester meadows and the river. Free, safe parking behind the hotel.

The room was very hot and could have used a fan. There may have been one available, I didn't ask as it was late when I got back.

This is a good location, reasonably priced for Cambridge, with a very helpful owner. Parking is a huge bonus if you are driving. Fridge in the room is handy too.

Nothing really, slightly dated look to rooms, but my own house looks like that! Very clean, tidy and welcoming.

The room was super clean! I've stayed in quite a few guest houses across the UK, and this was definitely a winner in terms of cleanliness, its hosts obviously do a great job maintaining the premises. And it was really cosy!

Good location, naff carpet in the bathroom!

The hotel is quiet and generally clean. Location is great and room was a reasonable price.

The room I stayed in had carpet in the shower room. I found this not only dated, but also off putting as you don't know what has been spilt on it. The television did not work but as I was only staying for one night I didn't ask the management to fix it. Also, there was a fridge but it did not appear to be plugged in. The hallways smelled of cooked food, not awful but not all that nice either. As I said, location is great, and I'm assuming that's why the owners have not updated the interiors because Cambridge lacks choice for affordable hotels!
