Excellent value

Very clean. Staff friendly. Shared bathroom was immaculate. Curtains shut out the light and it was quiet. Only a 4 minute walk from Cambridge Junction 2 Venue and lots of eateries.

A small tube of shower gel and shampoo would have been good, although hand wash was supplied in the bathroom.

Would stay here again

Very quiet, we saw guests from 2 other rooms but didn't hear them. We didn't meet the proprietor until the morning but he made check in smooth and easy. I booked Abbeyfield because it was only ¼ mile from the music venue. We had takeaway from across the road for dinner in our room before going out . Everything went well.

Not having an en-suite ( but toilet and bathroom were immediately outside our room and wash hand basin in the room .)

Excellent location in close proximity to station, friendly and communicative staff and very well priced.

It’s a little basic with only shared bathroom facilities but they were new and spotlessly clean. The rooms are looking a little tired and worn but they were nice and cool on a very hot day.

Brilliant value, well located comfortable accommodation.

I expected it to be minimalist which was fine. in fact it had a small desk and a screen making it practical to do a few emails. the bathroom was directly opposite and no real problem that it wasn't en suite. Possibly could have done with some shower gel in one of those dispensers. But it was excellent value, great to have somewhere to park the car and extremely convenient locations. It's a short walk to the Earl of Derby where there's good value food and drink too. Absolutely ideal, friendly reception from George and I'd book again without hesitation.

Good value budget for Cambridge

The guest house is very well locaed. I walked there from teh train station. It is close to a coffee shop, Indian take-awy, Chinese take-away, kebab shop and a couple of convenience stores. The reception was efficient (I came on time). The room was large and clean. It was very well priced.

The welcome tray was a bit miserly!

Person accommodated well - I arrived late which they helped with and there was an easy check-out. It was also quite central and right next to where I was going.

Fabulous

George is a very kind and caring host. I felt very welcomed. The shared bathroom is in very good condition as all appliances are brand new. My room was quite spacious and really clean, with a comfortable bed. The location is in walking distance from the train station and nearby are plenty of shopping opportunities (restaurants, groceries, coffee, cinema).

Fomos bem recebidos,boa localização,a limpeza da casa deixa muito a desejar.Pensei que o banheiro era privativo e precisava subir escadas para usá-lo.

Bra på många sätt!

Enkelt och bra, inget märkvärdigt men levde upp till förväntningarna väl. Ligger lite långt från Centrum om man vill gå men det finns bra bussförbindelser. Vid bra väderlek är det en trevlig halvtimmespromenad till centrum. George var trevlig och mycket korrekt! Bra att det finns parkering!

Inget att klaga på men det är delad toalett och badrum i korridoren. Dock mcket välordnat och välstädat. Inget märkvärdigt men levde upp till förväntningarna.

Nein danke - ohne eigenes Bad zu teuer und nicht sauber.

Der Parkplatz und die Lage Das Bett war sauber

Es war nicht erwähnt, dass es kein eigenes Bad gibt!!! Was auch noch auf einer anderen Etage war. Haare auf dem Waschbecken, Flecken an den Möbeln, Hellhörig (Fernseher vom Inhaber war zu hören)
