Would like a refund which we won’t get.

Room fine and clean

The TV didn’t work. We rang and the girl said she’d get back to us. I could tell she wasn’t interested in helping and sure enough we heard nothing further. Having no one on site or bothered to help is an issue.

Overall, very nice location and good value for money

The property is in a very good location 15 mins away by walking from the train station. The room, the kitchen and the toilets were very clean. It was very warm as well.

The windows face a lively street so it was quite noisy to sleep at night. There’s no good isolations in the rooms so you could hear people walking in the corridor. The good thing was everybody became very quiet after around 22:30-23:00

This was a low cost option which proved to be quite adequate for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable.

This was nothing to do with the room but the neighbours were sometimes very noisy and left the shared bathroom facilities unclean.

Generally decent with some issues

Relatively smooth check in where the front counter directed us to our accomodation (they have different building apartments). About 15 mins walk from Cambridge station, do take note if your luggage is big or heavy. Pretty standard accomodation with basic necessities.

Only issue I had was the bathroom lights turned off pretty fast (I was in the middle of doing my business hello?). I had to stand up once every few minutes to activate the sensor and turn on the lights. This happened even when I was in the shower. My friend also felt his bed was too soft which caused him to sink in and affected his sleep.

Perfect location.

The location was perfect, I was looking to stay near my friends home on gwydir street so being on mill road was ideal. The place was quiet, being above a busy restaurant but at the back of it and several floors up you couldn't hear anything. The room and bathroom are heated all through the night so it was cosy, I was actually too warm. There's a fan for summer. Communicating with the staff was easy, it's a self check in so you have to call the reception in their other property a few doors down, who confirms who you are and gives the lockbox code to get your key. I was able to leave my backpack the next day at reception and collect it later on which was very helpful.

I stayed in room three up in the eaves, and there was a large industrial extractor fan outside my window which sounded like bass vibration or music, but come 11pm ish it went quiet.

Good location, easy check in. Clean, but slightly run down. It actually reminded me of my old university room which was a nice bit of nostalgia. I slept well.

Extractor from restaurant did make the bedroom smell (I was in the room right above it). It did turn off around 11 and it closed at 12pm. Not the B&B’s fault really. All I will say is it’s the sort of place that absolutely depends on the other guests. Had there of been anyone noisy it would’ve been very difficult to sleep as it’s set up more like a house! Luckily other guests were great :)

Not cheap enough for what it is.

Location

While the property is thoroughly cleaned everyday, everything is communal and gets messy quickly. The rooms don't get cleaned if you stay for more than one night. And the carpets and overall smell is not fresh. Finally, the bathroom is a pain. The shower is on a 8-second timer (I counted) so you need to always keep pressing the button. And the lights are on a very short timer too, so the whole experience is not very nice.

Good price and location, but not without faults

Location is great and check-in is very smooth. Rooms are straightforward; basics but fine. There's also a communal kitchen with good facilities and coffee and tea.

The bathroom is shared among four rooms. When we stayed there, there was only one other room occupied but even then there was quite a queue for the bathroom. Communication was clear, but unpersonal because you never meet someone. Housekeeping is very rushed and cleaned the bathroom both days at inconvenient times; between 8.30 and 10 in the morning, right when everyone wants to use them.

Great location, big rooms, clean place, uncomfortable mattresses

Great location, great value for money, very easy check in and check out, big rooms, clean, lovely to have the opportunity to make a cup of tea or coffee in the morning!

The beds were so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep. It was 6 of us split in 2 rooms, and all of us struggled. It's a real shame because the place is lovely otherwise, and I would have given a stellar review if it wasn't for the mattresses.

Disappointing

There was no breakfast.

Before check-in, there was a demand of £150. I initially thought this was a scam given the tone of the communication. This is not standard procedure in other accommodations, and although the receptionist tried to be helpful, I found the whole process very intrusive. I will not be using Tas Accommodation again.

Super perfect we can reach everything in Cambridge by walking

Our stay in Angel

Robert was a great host. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Robert went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He lent us a power adapter and told us where we could buy our own. Allowed us to store our luggage and launder our clothes free of charge. We liked the location as it was close to Angel station. Robert also carried our luggage up and down the stairs for us.

We didn't like that our room was up several flights of narrow winding stairs.

Good location, walking distance to city centre and train station. Clean property. Appreciated the provision of tea, coffee & milk.

The property is adjacent to a restaurant with seating out the back which our room overlooked so there was constant background noise of extractor fan/ music etc until late but beyond your control.

Nice for a short visit close to the city centre.

The shared kitchen and bathroom/toilet is acceptable. Cleanliness is good. Room is enough for two. Check-in, check-out went very smoothly, and they offered to look for our luggage after check-out!

Unfortunately, the shisha bar under the building can be heard throughout the night, also, Mills road is very busy and the windows look exactly there. Bed mattress is very soft.

There is a grill restaurant next door so if you have the windows open you get really hungry.

Onvoldoende om aan iemand anders aan te bevelen, tenzij je de ongemakken voor lief neemt.

Perfecte locatie, tussen station en het oude centrum in. Levendige straat met leuke winkeltjes en restaurants. In de gedeelde keuken kon je je eigen ontbijt maken (en wat etenswaren in de koelkast bewaren).

De gedeelde wc en gedeelde douche waren twee trappen lager dan mijn kamer. Bovendien kon ik van bovenaf niet zien of ze bezet waren. Erg lastig als je er 's nachts even uit moet om te plassen. De eerste twee dagen kon ik niet douchen omdat er geen warm water was. Op mijn kamer had ik geluidsoverlast van de afzuiginstallatie van het restaurant op de begane grond.
