The property is in a pleasant location, and the apartment was clean and well maintained. Upon arrival, everything went smoothly; the key was left in the door, allowing us to enter immediately. The check-out process was also simple and convenient. As instructed, we left the key in the door when we departed. Everything appeared to be in order.

Unfortunately, our stay had an unpleasant follow-up. At around 10:00 PM, several hours after we had already left the apartment, we received a phone call from someone claiming to be the cleaning lady. She alleged that we had damaged a bedside lamp and stated that we would be sent an invoice for the damage. According to her, photographs had been taken as evidence. This raises serious concerns for us. If we ever damage something during a stay, we would report it honestly and immediately. Furthermore, we do not believe it is reasonable to hold guests responsible for alleged damage when no inspection was carried out by a staff member or the property owner at the time of departure. Without a check-out inspection, it is impossible to determine when the damage occurred or who was responsible for it. To us, this situation feels highly questionable. We sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and not a standard practice. If it is not, then future guests should be aware of this before making a reservation. Overall: The location and cleanliness of the apartment were very good, but the way this matter was handled afterward has unfortunately damaged our trust in the property.
