Nothing

Very overrated. Old and not worth the money, and the food and breakfast would be better left out of the menu so that someone doesn't get food poisoning from them. I'm sorry to leave a bad review, but seriously, the pay = value is not entirely fair. you only pay for the location. Very cold in the room, even though I left the radiator on the day and all night, on a night with -10 degrees and a 4 years old kid in the room. Really disappointed.

Stay at Hohenrain

Location and breakfast was good. The manager was friendly

They messed up with our booking and gave us a different apartment with a double bed and an uncomfortable sleeping couch. Not what we paid for.. The restaurant also only take cash, and no card. Hard to communicate with the restaurant staff.

A pleasant stay with a view to the mountains

The host was very helpful and gave us a heater to the room as the bathroom did not have any heater. Also we got an amazing mountain view room ☺️ The location is very good as the bus is very near and the cogwheel train to Alps is just 10min walking distance away. Also we got a city card to use on public transport and the swimming pool. The breakfast had a nice variety of food and the buffet area was beautifully decorated.

The radiator did not work properly in the room. It would be nice to find a kettle in the room especially in the winter months.

We were there for the opening day, it was still a bit chaotic but we really like our room, it was spacious and everything was new (apart from the bathroom). Morning breakfast was ok

not worth the money

The view from the balcony

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The first room we were given the keys to had not been cleaned. The staff offered us another room, which, as we were later told, was their “VIP” room. Unfortunately, there was nothing VIP about it — an empty Monster Energy can was waiting for us under the TV, some of the lights were missing or broken, the curtain rods were crooked and partially broken — the renovation was just awful! There was no Wi-Fi in the room. TV in bedroom didn't work. The only thing that “saves” this room is the view of the Zugspitze from the balcony. Overall, it is not worth the price at all.

Okay. The location is great.

The check in experience was terrible. We called the hotel a day before and requested for an early check in. And the day when we arrived, we were 30 minutes late than the time we told them the day before. We came to know there's no one at the reception so we called them. The person on the call said you are late so you will have to wait until someone comes back at 2pm for normal check-in time. So it turned out that it's a hotel without any reception. Quite a surprise for us and we ended up spending 2 hours outside in the cold!

I Don't understand why there is no kettle, it's not like there is no place to put it . In the fridge was a mold so we disgusted to put things inside. The view from the balcony.. yes we saw the mountains but also we had chimney from the kitchen .
