Romans Villa has the most beautiful ocean view in the entire Southern Hemisphere. The vastness of it is priceless. The decor is artsy and loaded with surprises...just like Nynke. The purple room is a "must see".
The stairs leading to the purple room feel unstable and steep.

Superb scenic location. Comfortable, clean, well appointed rooms. Great food and a superb boutique SA winelist with exemplary and helpful staff. Well done.

The location, beach, scenery, view outstanding.
Looking tired. Lack of attention to detail and quality. There seemed to be a party atmosphere amongst the staff, loud music, dancing in what should be a tranquil and relaxing environment. Staff would sit around the guest area, on occasions were asleep. Staff were not forthcoming with taking breakfast orders, we had to find them to order and then the order wasn’t right when it came. Sadly the standard has dropped.
