The service, the rooms were clean and the location incredible!
It should be an adults only complex, people pay a lot of money for tranquility at Umedewi and some families did not supervise their children enough. They were noisy and disturbed the peace.

We spent a few days at Umadewi Surf & Retreat while my husband was surfing, and it was an excellent experience. The waves are literally right in front of the hotel, making it the perfect location for surfers.
In terms of cleanliness, food, facilities, and overall comfort, everything was a 10/10. The staff were welcoming, the resort was well maintained, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing.
We chose one of the more budget-friendly rooms at the back of the property. The soundproofing is not the best, but since the resort mainly caters to surfers and guests who tend to wake up early and go to bed early, it wasn't a major issue. Considering the price, it offers excellent value for money.
If you're looking for a quieter and more secluded experience, I would recommend booking one of the standalone cabins right in front of the beach. The location and views are absolutely worth it.
