Overall experience was good - lovely people

Very open friendly people.Room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with hot towels on the radiators. Breakfast was good and nothing was too much trouble.

One issue we had and we should have asked for help - we couldn’t control the temperature in the shower - it was very hot and we could not get it cooled down.

Great location. Room & en-suite perfectly clean with lovely bed linen on a comfy bed. TV in room. Breakfast was great. Mary & Martha were very nice & welcoming. Definitely 10/10 Thank you

Great place to stay for any visit to Derry.

Thomas and his family were very friendly and gracious hosts, and made my stay a highly enjoyable one. His local and historical knowledge made for interesting and informative conversation. The property itself is in a quiet location, a convenient walk from the centre. Breakfast was freshly cooked each day, and the bedroom and en suite bathroom both pristine. Can highly recommend and will definitely return.

The woman who runs it is so so nice, as are the other people there. Great breakfasts. A pleasant walk to the old town if it’s not raining. The house itself is very nice and comfortable and nicely furnished.

Very helpful staff, good breakfast but our bedroom was very small.

Thomas was very helpful and knowledgeable about Derry and its history. He also gave us a lift to the town centre in the evening. We were given a parking place in the driveway next door. There was also parking available in the side street next to the B&B. Good lighting in the bedroom. Good breakfast.

Very small room, We could not keep our suitcases open on the floor. Shower door kept opening, shower handle very stiff, we couldn't change the temperature from very hot to a cooler temperature. As a result we could not have a proper shower.

Thomas and Mary are extraordinarily kind and welcoming to their guests. Thomas was delightfully helpful to us, making sure we had all the guidance or help we needed for visiting Derry, and we enjoyed such interesting and informative conversations with him about history and about current events. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was great, and we enjoyed our time there deeply. The point of staying in a B&B rather than a hotel is to meet local people. This satisfied that need completely. They both went above and beyond to make our visit a lovely one. The walk downhill each morning to go into the city was a pleasure.

Our host, Mary, was very welcoming, and both the rooms and breakfast were excellent. The house lies on a hill next to a very nice public park which we walked through to visit the city centre.

A great, traditional B'n'B stay

This is a proper, traditional B'n'B. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating; we enjoyed chatting with them. The room was clean and comfortable, with all amenities advertised. The breakfast was great - tasty and a good variety of choice. The location of the accommodation is great - it's a lovely area near a park, and walking distance to town.

No tea or coffee facilities in the room. The listing is accurate (we knew not to expect any) but it would be a great addition. There is a sliding door to the bathroom, so there is quite a gap when it's closed; as such, we found we were easily woken if the bathroom light was turned on in the night.

Nice area in the Rosemount district. Pleasant walk into Derry centre, but we got taxis back up the hill. Derry was a revelation - an interesting City.

No bottled water or tea making facilities in room. Room was really well designed, but a bit small.

Very comfortable guest house and enlightening hosts

Perfect for visisting the city (about 15 min walk to the centre) and the local park on the way was lovely. Our room was very spacious with ample storage. Our hosts were very welcoming and engaging providing all sorts of information about the locality and history of Derry and its people.

Our bedroom was at the front of the house and traffic noise whilst not heavy is noticeable but once window was closed didn't bother us too much during the night.

Great breakfast and very kind family. The location is quiet and easy to find a parking space if you arrive by car. It's not in the centre but very close, and you get there in 10 minutes walking. Coming back takes a bit more because it's on a hill, but nothing hard.

Great location, 15mins stroll down hill to the city centre. Modern and well decorated with great facilities, comfortable bed and good shower room. Friendly hosts who happily shared a wealth of information about the cities past.

The location was very close to the sights we want walk to. Our host Mary made us feel like family. She also gave us recommendations for sights and dining and she was 100% correct! The breakfast was perfect, best Irish breakfast we’ve had yet!

Quiet peaceful

The man was very nice. He even drove me to the train station gentleman. Cheap. And quiet no real views. But good value for money.

It's a home also so you feel a bit weird And in the booking sid it had a bar there's not. But I would stay here again.

Wonderful stay in a nice area near a park and good location for Pubs, restaurants and sights all within walking distance. Great Full Irish breakfast, wonderful beds and Staff were delightful and very helpful and accommodating.
