Really great location and breakfast, no issues with facilities.
Bed was slightly uncomfortable

The room and bed were very comfortable. The room was warm and I really like the keyless entry system - so handy not to carry a key around. The B&B is so much closer to the city centre than it seems - I walked to work (beside the city walls) on both mornings in 10 minutes. I was able to leave the car parked up which I love. The continental breakfast was tasty and had plenty of options.
I was there for work and needed to work in the evenings. My room had no space to comfortably place a laptop. The shower door opening was behind the basin and needed a tight squeeze to get a shower. The booking site highlighted an 'exceptional breakfast' - it was very tasty but lacked a little. The only hot option was a packet of 'add hot water' porridge. I dont want a fry but even an option for a boiled egg would be nice (provides a healthy option).

The staff at breakfast were lovely. The breakfast was beautiful and room was amazing for my son and I. When other guests where having a party i called staff and it was dealt with right away. Beautuful B and B amazing

The bathroom was very nice and the lounge looked very lovely.
The telly did not work and the mattress had large stains with only a sheet separating me from them. I wouldn't advise plug in air fresheners in such a small room as I am an asthmatic and it was over strong, however I appreciate the attempt. The room was not as simply furnished as it should have been. I just felt that the pictures online were not an accurate description of the rooms.

It was very quiet and staff in morning time for breakfast were very nice.
I couldn't fault this place.

Facilitated early bag drop. Quiet area.
No information in room about anything and no staff on site. Bathroom further away from bedroom than expected, also cold, not my definition of luxurious. Not a power shower, as per website. Many of the facilities ticked on the website misleading/inaccurate. Also the (one single) room shown on the website was not the one I stayed in, not that it made a huge difference, just inaccurate. Electrics worryingly dependent on extension leads and one socket hanging loose. Notice on dining room door said breakfast that day to be at sister establishment, down the steep steps, half way up the street. Went there in the rain, only to be told that the breakfast was available back at base. No staff member visible but one eventually emerged and thankfully was helpful and friendly.

The guest house heating comes on in the evening and does not turn off until 10 pm. This made my room (I stayed during early October) a bit on the stuffy side until 10 pm.

Cosy and warm. Cheerie staff!
That light cord in the toilet! An' the decor...palace o' Versaille style? I'm nae aristo!

Very comfortable beds. Really spacious room. Nice bathroom. Very generous continental breakfasts around a lovely communal circular table.
Although a lovely big TV was provided, it was impossible to get our favourite channels (BBC1&2, ITV, Channel 4). It took me forever to eventually get onto iPlayer via my own account. I cannot believe it needs such a complicated process to watch BBC 1 or 2! This really was a negative.

Was fine for one night but couldn’t have stayed here any longer
Room was very small compared to pictures. There was only a plug socket on one side of the bed the other was on the floor by the vanity. 4 flights of stairs to our room with suitcases in a narrow staircase. Bathroom was dirty and very narrow could barley change inside there

Less then 5-6 minute walk into town. It was nice and quiet and the breakfast was nice.
If your an elderly couple it’s not walkable from town due to the big hill.

They gave us a special breakfast dropped at our room because we had to leave earlier. The location was perfect and we walked to the river and center in 15-20 minutes depending on which way. Easy parking right on the street. We were greeted outside by a manager who helped with our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Good WiFi. Great continental breakfast with everything!!!!
Thicker bath towels and better soap dispenser in the shower.

Very close to Derry Murals and town centre if you have a good map. Free water bottle. Quiet comfortable room facing back (room 8). It had its own bathroom for private use just below. Comfy bathrobe to walk to bathroom and back. Was very quiet and comfortable. Could have stayed longer. Breakfast is in guesthouse across road and was fresh baked goods and fruits. Derry is a very nice compact town with lots to see and shop close to hotel.
They text you the entry code and I was in transit from last hotel and did not have wifi. It should be sent at least 12 hours prior not just before check in time. It is an uphill walk the first time you arrive with luggage and the property has a lot of steps. But downhill in reverse and easy to get to centre.

Nothing
The room was 10 degrees due to a broken radiator the walls where all cracked, the bathroom is two sets of stairs below, a half drunk or half filled bottle of orange liquid was left in room, tv and bracket leaning precariously on top of radiator with aerial hanging below, i had 2 nights booked but tried to cancel the second one due to the room this was point blank denied. I have booked somewhere else anyway and will stomach the loss, I can’t comment on the breakfast which is served over the road in another bnb as I didn’t want to risk it.

The breakfast is in a different building to the property which I only found out when I arrived. Breakfast staff very nice. Good choice of continental breakfast.
Some of the fixtures and fittings not secure which could be potentially dangerous. No reception area. Private external bathroom had dead insects on windowsill that looked like they had been there for a long time. First night quiet but second night other guests came back to property extremely loud and drunk which woke me up. At one point I had to use the external bathroom but was afraid to leave the room as one of these guests was sitting on the stairs outside my room playing loud music. They had locked themselves out of their room. I eventually went to the bathroom and had to help the drunk guest get into their room (the rooms operate with key codes not keys). This must have been about 3am or so. It would have been great to have staff on the property especially as lone female traveller as I was afraid if I confronted the drunk guests and asked them to be quiet.

Contactless check in was really useful. Meant a very easy process to get myself into the room. Good level of privacy. En-suite in the bedroom was very helpful as well. Well located to get into central Derry.
The décor was a little dated and the finish in some areas wasn't great. The door on the shower was broken. The fact that there was a code to get into the room rather than a key was a bit disconcerting. No guarantee how many people who've stayed previously are aware of the code.

Good breakfast, nice quiet area. Very good communication from hosts . Good facilities. Clean and comfortable. Convenient to city. However if walking , the hills to the property are very challenging. Unless you are quite fit ,I suggest a taxi up , but an easy walk down.

Lovely continental breakfast
It was a very good place to stay in. Nothing I didn't like
3.0 / 10.0
Breakfast was good.
Poor parking. Long walk to accommodation. The fan in bathroom (only ventilation) was so filthy that it wouldn't work.
Glass shower screen off its mounts. Mould in shower tiles. Tiny main room and tiny bathroom. Long walk up three flights of stairs to Unit 9 with ports etc. The TV connection was so bad that there was ghosting on every station and impossible to watch. The unit would not rate 3 stars.

This is only a room in a weird building. Nothing great.
I didn't like anything about this place.

Although room was clean needs a few repairs done.
