Beautiful room, nice hotel in a great location, staff was friendly and attentive. Windows and walls were well insulated from noise! Very comfortable bed!
I was very put off by the cleaning crew. I checked in at 4PM. Unpacked and chilled for a bit, went out to dinner, came back to find they had come in the room when I left and moved stuff. There wasn't much to clean as I had been in it like 30 minutes. That's fine, but next day I left for lunch and they came in again to clean. I ended up staying in the room for a bit to watch world cup and they tried coming in again. Door was latched so they were unable to, but were very forceful with it, trying to open it multiple times before I walked over to it. Told them I wasn't interested in another cleaning. Went out to dinner a bit later and they came in and cleaned again. There's seemingly no way to tell them not to and I just don't understand the intent. It was like they're monitoring your room for any time you leave to go in and clean. Ive stayed at numerous 5 star hotels and never dealt with that before. Otherwise the room layout made absolutely no sense. Had the terrace room and there's a sliding door on the other side of a large bathtub that you physically cant get through because the bathtub blocks the entire way. It also doesnt close fully so you have a crack between the bed and the toilet.. You have to walk all the way around the bathroom to get in the bathroom. The toilet is directly up against the wall with a doorstop on the ground right in front of it. Its just weirdly situated.

Great location, staff were very friendly and the space was beautiful and calming.
Was there during the World Cup and the one afternoon we had to enjoy the lounge in the the restaurant bar there was a game I was passingly interested in happening. I did ask three different staff members if they would put the game on the one TV in the corner. They all politely said they’d ask to have it done but nothing happened. A couple hours later as we were leaving (had gone to our room to get ready to go out for dinner) the next game was on the TV…

The price for the room they gave us. We had to pay extra money to upgrade the room because the first one they brought us too was Unsatisfactory
