    The self check-in process was really easy and the staffs are also very helpful and kind. The room is a little small but it was reasonable consider the price. For me as a solo traveler, it wasn't an issue at all. The location is also really good. Being in the walking distance to old port, chinatown, bell center. Only took me about 10-15 minutes to walk to so many places.

    Hotel Monville’s room has floor to ceiling window with automatic shades. Great natural light. Water pressure great with hot water. There’s a safe, small refrigerator, coffee machine and a hot water kettle which I appreciate to get non-coffee tasting water for tea. There is a microwave but have to go to certain floors to use it (you get a pass card from Reception). Convenience store across the street. I would like to see an additional chair in the room. I would definitely stay there again.

    Stayed for 2 nights in July, hotel has benefit of great location juat an 8 minute walk from the old town and lovely restaurants. Customers self check-in, or check-in online, but if you don’t carefully read and understand the no tap sign on the payment machine ie you can’t use apple pay, an overly zealous member of staff appears demanding a card to take another $200 dollar hold payment even when the first is showing on your bank transactions. I think it would be easier, quicker and more welcoming if traditional check in was used as this was the moat unfriendly welcome I have had in a hotel. The terrace was closed for a private function on the second of the two nights i stayed which was disappointing, the air con in the lobby bar/restaurant made it too cold to stay for breakfast but good if you prefer it that way!
