Booking went well except for price. Site offered at 73 euros ie c £61, but after booking £80 . charged to credit card! No such charged in past bookings.

A great overnight stay - and a good location to get to or from the Channel crossing.

For the relatively (for August), cheap cost, the hotel was a nice surprise. Lovely lady at reception, and the room had everything we needed for an overnight stay en route back to the Channel Tunnel. The carpark had plenty of spaces, and it was locked overnight. So, we felt safe, leaving most of our luggage in the car. It was very easy to find, off the Autoroute. There are casual restaurants just outside though we opted for the easy 20 mins walk into the gorgeous old fortified town. There were plenty of restaurants and on the Sunday morning - there was a huge market. With a great atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again.

Simple hotel on edge of Loches but pleasant walk to town

Clean and comfortable and easy parking. Area around hotel feels out of town but in fact its a very short walk to the point where you gain your first view of Loches and from there its another 10 minutes or so pleasant walk to the walls of the medieval town. Loches is lovely, a gem.

Shower gel container empty in bathroom, this sort of thing should be checked. As with other Brit hotels lack of a small fridge in the room to chill water or keep food is a strong negative in hot weather. strongly suggest to add this to enhance the customer experience. We found restaurants mostly fully booked in Loches so may be worth reserving your table if visiting at a busy time.
