There was ample parking and excellent facilities for young families, with what looked to be a municipal standard playground in the back. The place was packed with large group reservations, so I think that if we hadn't been booked in to the hotel, the staff would've found it hard to accommodate us. Definitely one to reserve before hand, especially on a Saturday when there's live music!
Our room was right next to/above the bar and the live music, but thankfully we didn't have young children to settle, so our old ears didn't find it too trying. But, if you did have young children or babies, I would check with the staff where your room is located first.

Location, pub atmosphere, lots of free parking
Toilet wasn’t clean and there was a fly flying around in the room when I arrived. Carpet and decor looked very dated.
Shame that breakfast isn’t included with the stay.
