Good stay but more attention to detail needed and communication

Lovely hotel lovely comfortable beds

No hand towels left in our room or toilet rolls and the tea coffee milks etc were not topped up, I had to go down in the morning to try to get some toilet rolls and hand towels which wasn't ideal. Sunday lunch would of got 5 stars but they run out of Yorkshire pudding never explained or appologised and put a half on each plate and none on the small meals and forgot roast potatoes on one .

OK sort your drains out

Comfy beds, tea and coffee. Evening meal and breakfast were lovely. Staff superb and helpful.

Bathroom smelt room 3 drains/sewage problems it was quite bad. Room 3 thankfully we were at family most of the time. Would book again but not that room. Would upgrade hoping for a nicer smell

Comfy room but dirty very disappointed

It was a really comfy bed & very warm & cosy.

The first room was dirty & very noisy from extractor fans from the kitchen. The second was much better however it was still sort of dirty wasn't hoovered properly & makeup stains on the floor & very rusty towel rail.

PERFECT and COMFORTABLE!

I stayed at Eccleston Hotel to attend a funeral for a dear family member. The hotel hosted the wake as well. I can't express enough my gratitude to Anne and her team for supportinng my family in an extraordinarily difficult period. Everybody was so attentive, but delicate with what was a big gathering of people paying their respects and honour in a tragic situtation. I can't commend them enough. It's clearly a location that is a strong environment for people to come together socially and celebrate life and joy. I commend them and recommend to all looking for warm and attentive care while travelling. FYI...Annie if you see this...it's your guy with the head bands you had a late night drink with with.

A bit disappointing

Evening meal was very good

The constant noise, even at breakfast there was music blaring out. We were told that last orders were 10pm because of stock levels. When I said we were residents they said you'll have to charge any drinks to your room after 10pm. The pub was practically empty by 9.30pm but we had met our family there to have a Christmas celebration so it was just very flat by this point despite the music being so loud from when we checked in at 4pm. It was just a very strange stay & atmosphere Breakfast was poor & coffee shocking Bathroom was tiny & not particularly clean, radiator was absolutely filthy & so was the sink underneath.

Amazing pub and a great room

The room was the suite which we were upgraded too and the room is very good and huge! The pub food was excellent and so was the service

Excellent food and great value for money.

The suite for the price paid was amazing. The staff very friendly and the food in the evening was great value, served piping hot and very tasty. As was the breakfast and the choices. Also great to have a wide range of time for breakfast 7.30 to 11am just in case a heavy night before was had. The Doom Bar Beer was exceptional.

Great place, staffed by great people created a great stay!

Fantastic room and fantastic staff. As for the food, you are literally staying above a phenomenal restaurant and the chef and waiting team are amazing! You can get room service too so even if the restaurant is full you'll still get perfect food brought to your room. And the rooms are so good you probably wont even want to leave to go to the restaurant anyway!

Lovely stay at Eccleston arms

Nice modern room, conformable bed with tea and coffee facilities. Iron and board in room. Spacious bathroom with good shower and LED mirror. Staff polite and welcoming, even when arriving back early hours of the morning.

The room and restaurant were really nice. The creamy mushroom tagliatelle, & the parmesan & rosemary fries were 10/10, alone with the breakfast. We will definitely be booking again!

The shower cubicle could have been a little cleaner. The room was really nice. However, there was a noisy fan outside our room but this didn’t really affect the overall stay.

It was ok , reasonable price but issues with the toom

Several issues with the room. Parts not cleaned for a while, radiators , kettle dirty etc. Several repairs needed. Bathroom door wouldn't close extraction fan broke and no blind on window, only curtain so could be seen from car park.

A great pub on a busy road.

The quality of the food and drink was very good. Food was prepared on site. I had one minor problem which was acknowledged. Room was very clean and the bed large and comfortable.

Despite the very good triple glazing, I could still hear traffic noise as it is on a busy main road. There may be quieter rooms available. WiFi connection instructions need updating

Excellent value for money. Exceptional room, comfy bed, fabulous large bathroom with walk-in shower. Wonderfully friendly staff, so helpful and made my stay so enjoyable. Big shout out to the landlady Annie and her amazing staff Claire and Dean and not forgetting chef who dished up amazing foodxx
