I wish I could turn the bathroom light on without disturbing my partners sleep. There was window and no dim light to select.

Beautiful spa hotel with excellent food/drinks and service.

Spa and relaxation area is stunning and well maintained. Excellent service provided by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Located in the beautiful town Ramsau surrounded by stunning landscape. Whole hotel and outdoor area is giving modern yet Bavarian vibes. The food at breakfast and dinner was also very good and the variety in menu is great.

Basic changing rooms in spa, this could use improvement (space, shower, hairdryer) Temperature across the hotel - when we visited in December, every area (restaurant, bar e.g.) was way too warm to be comfortable (and I'm normally someone who freezes everywhere and prefers a warmer room temperature). Feel this could be improved in light of their focus on sustainability (which is otherwise consistently prioritised).

A beautiful very comfortable mountain hotel for a relaxing stay with great service

The staff was amazing and very helpful and polite., nothing was too much trouble, whether it was at reception, the restaurant or the shop. The room was great and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is very beautifully designed, very warm with the lovely wood everywhere, close to the village and various hiking path or a trip to Berchtesgaden, Koenigsee or Salzburg and in beautiful surroundings

As we have been several times before we didn't quite realise that dinner would be from a buffet. Even so the food was delicous and plentiful we would have preferred to have eaten a la carte and brought it to our table. (which we could have opted for, but realised to late and we were only there for one night

This place is really wonderful…it was a great surprise to find this in Bavaria.

Beautiful Location and Remarkably Trained International Staff

Beautiful Location and Remarkably Trained International Staff Hotel Rehlegg is nicely located on an elevated piece of land, offering breathtaking mountain views. What impressed us most was the consistently well-organized and harmoniously functioning service team. Though the staff came from a wide range of countries (Romania, India, Indonesia, Germany, Vietnam, etc.), they all seemed to have been trained under a unified and high standard – possibly by an excellent mentor. This created a smooth and pleasant atmosphere that positively impacted our entire stay.

It was not in the national park but surrounded by it.

Absolutely Fabulous Hotel, did not want to leave.

Fabulous large room (337), with balcony and seating area. Good and plentiful choices for the dinner and breakfast buffet, with different options each day. Very professional staff whilst also all being the friendliest staff we have ever encountered at a hotel. The setting is perfect for walking in the area, which was the object of our holiday. We didn't use the spa/swimming pool/sauna facilities, however for anyone who enjoys that aspect of a holiday I would imagine you wouldn't want to leave the hotel at all.

This will probably say more about the "English"/our mentality than the hotel and is hardly worth mentioning, however.........All the menus, information etc. is in German, which if you haven't bothered to learn the language means that your google translate will come in handy. Obviously all the staff are very happy to assist with any queries and speak English, so this isn't really a problem, just a FYI. Funnily, the only leaflet that was in English gave details of the very comfy mattress used in the rooms :).

Just amazing

Our 5-night stay at Berghotel Rehlegg exceeded all our expectations. It is quite a big hotel, but it still feels intimate and personal due to the layout of the buildings, the set-up of the common areas and the service. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the walking trails the region has to offer. You can leave straight from the hotel for full day walks, or a short drive takes you to many other trail options. To return every late afternoon to the hotel, to enjoy the beautiful sauna & pool facilities, a super comfortable room (and bed!), friendly staff and a kitchen team that goes all the way to deliver tasty and abundant dinners, was just amazing. A special note for vegetarians: we had more vegetables in a single night, then the rest of our 2-week travel in Germany :) We normally do not book full-board packages, but in this case, it was well worth the price. If it was not for the long drive, we would become regular guests in this hotel. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was great, room was fantastic and staff very helpful.

Paid for a rucksack picnic lunch to take on our ride in the country however it was mostly inedible and we threw it away. It was expensive for what we received so be mindful. A more cheeky person might have helped themselves to a bit extra breakfast to take away instead!

Nice stay at the Berghotel Rehlegg

Beautiful facilities, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and great location for the area.

This was our second visit. The food has always been amazing, however as I now have an allergy to gluten I was finding it very hard to get information on the cooked food to see what I could eat. They very kindly brought gf bread for dinner and breakfast, but it felt a bit of a gamble when trying to figure out what I could eat at the buffet.

We didn’t want to leave.

Amazing spa facilities, excellent food, lovely staff. Good food options for veggies. They’d thought of everything. The wildflower lawns in the grounds were beautiful and full of flowers, the scenery is stunning. There are so many different places to relax. Being able to borrow hiking poles and backpack allowed us to explore the alpine trails more extensively than we could’ve done otherwise.

Top class. Most impressive hotel with an outstanding spa.

Excellent in almost all aspects. Slight niggle with the restaurant staff but this perhaps is being overly picky. Would highly recommend this hotel.
