This was a great hotel, and was run just as hotels used to be. No keypads or access codes, but instead, a human being to welcome you and a proper key to your door! The room was big and airy and properly equipped, and the hotel conveniently situated near amenities and on a main thoroughfare between Warwick and Leamington Spa.
There's very little to complain about, as I had a great stay and this was a really lovely hotel. The pillows could have been a little softer, but quite honestly that's my only criticism! Everything else was just about perfect, especially as (amazingly!) it was also the cheapest going!

dated, tatty, basic and scruffy
all hygiene certs etc displayed but many years out of date (over 10 in some cases)
tourism items dated to 2023
not worth the £65 (cash only) price
