A charming hotel with incredibly helpful and friendly staff.

The stay at the Apollon Hotel was a very good decision and it was one of the things that made our stay on Naxos a wonderful experience. The staff and the owner, Ms. Despina were most welcoming and extremely helpful. Some small requests we had were dealt with immediately. The hotel is a place full of soul and charm, it is also very close to the bus station, the sea, the port and the heart of the town. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

Love everything about this homey hotel

The hotel is very lovely, it’s rustic and it has its charm. Spring water, ouzo and Loukum candy at your disposal to take. Every one was very nice, from the receptionist to the cleaning lady who doesn’t even speak english but tried her best to help us. Sipping our coffee at the seaview terrace was a perfect way to start the day. The location is perfect too, everything is in walking distance.

Amazing location within walking distance from the port. The hotel was quaint and charming with a very welcoming staff. We got a great recommendation for dinner from them. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing at all apart from the location

The room was dirty, small & the toilet was leaking I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I wouldn’t walk on the floor with wearing my shoes that’s how bad it was. The staff were grumpy. There wasn’t any toilet paper & when I asked for some they weren’t very happy. Yuk, yuk

doors very noisy huge bang when shutting, keys so clunky woke everyone up, had to hold the shower rose in your hand, no tea making facilities

Fantastic location, beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff

The location of the hotel is a stones throw away from the old town, but tucked away on the outskirts of Grotta. It is quiet and you can hear the waves crashing on Grotta beach at the back of the hotel. We had a lovely balcony that we could use morning to night. The hotel has a lovely patio area downstairs where sitting and chatting was very much encouraged. We played games and chilled out with the hotel cats.

The bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly, particularly the shower and sink areas.

Very good

Very quiet pleasant spot a few minutes walking from the hectic centre of Naxos. No breakfast available, which is no problem, lots of bakeries available next door. Next to the shore, so nice sound of the waves during night time. Very nice and helpful staff, booked for six nights, decided to stay another five days, perfectly arranged

Excellent location, very close to port and the city center. Excellent personnel, helpful beyond expectation, with lots of tip for a better experience in Naxos.

I'd need more power outlets, but this is a common "problem" with almost all hotels nowadays.

Stay was perfect

Despina the owner of the Hotel is the perfect host. She has lived in Naxos for some time and is very helpful for advice and suggestions. the hotel is very central for the Hora, restaurants, cafes and the Port for ferries. We loved the decor in the Hotel and the wonderful Greek photos of Naxos.

Quiet but central

Interesting older hotel that has a classic feel because of the decorations. The owner and the staff are welcoming and helpful. While on a quiet residential street it is steps from the Orthodox Cathedral, The ruins of the first city, a local shop and the port area. We settled in very easily and it felt like home. The room was comfortable with plenty of space. The shower was a bit small and the curtain clingy as you washed. Everything worked well. Very quite but it was at the beginning of the season so not very busy.

Shower area could have been a bit larger. The rooms are on the floors with a staircase to the top two. But the staff is always glad to help move baggage. The owner shares my wife’s passion for cats so there are several friendly cats who are around the front entrance. Just as a warning to those who afraid of cats.

Formidable accueil, un hôtel bien placé et confortable

L’emplacement proche du port. L’accueil et l’extrême amabilité de la propriétaire. La tranquillité du quartier. Le balcon pour le petit déjeuner. Parking facile. La décoration qui donne un charme intemporel à l’hôtel.

La douche un peu petite mais ce n’est pas un défaut en soi.
