Great value and great experience

We had an incredible experience here, best value for money and wish we stayed another couple of nights. Our sea view room was a beautiful spot for sunset and people watching the port. The chairs were a bit rickety but that all added to the experience.

The shower head was difficult to work / fix to the wall, and the street noise on a Saturday buzzed on until the early hours of the morning but the sea view, spacious room and crispy white sheets made it all worth it.

Excellent location and helpful staff.

We stayed at the Hotel Coronis on two occasions. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The first time, our suitcases were delayed in transit, and the staff did everythig possible to help us out. The included breakfast is excellent value for money, wit hverything you might need. The Hotel is excellently located in the centre of the harbour, easy for access to the ferries, or the shops/taverners and beaches.

Nothing can be done, but the music from nearby bars etc, goes on until the very small hours!

Location, location, location! Right in the town and a short walk to the beach. Fab place to stay. Nice staff.

The showers need an upgrade. The actual hand-held shower spray is fine, as is the water pressure. The shower curtain is too short and the bathroom floor gets soaked. Would be easy to make it a wet room. Bed could be better.

The young man on reception was very sociable, smiling and very helpful.

The room was very dated and looked like it could have done with a few coats of pain The bed was very very firm and uncomfortable. The glasses at the bed side were dirty at the bottom. The shower area was very small resulting in the small bathroom being 'flooded ' each time the shower was used. The shower curtain was dirty/very grubby at the bottom

The room had a beautiful view of the port.

The noise from nearby bars was so loud, I couldn’t sleep, even with all the doors and windows closed. I had to move hotels after one sleepless night and the hotel refused to consider any refund for two rooms. It cost us a lot of money as a result.

Perfect for a stop over before ferry/flight.

The location was excellent. The staff were friendly and communication before, during and after was fantastic. We could leave are bags after check out till it was time to walk to the ferry. Breakfast was very reasonable. The view from the balcony across the harbour was beautiful. Lots of shops/restaurants closeby.

We stayed in room 302,a side room with a view of the town, and the harbour. It was reasonably furnished but beginning to look dated and in need of a refurbishment soon. The beds were comfortable enough and all in all the accommodation met our needs..

Well the hotel sits on the corner of the waterfront in Naxos close to many restaurants ,shops, etc and is prone to loud music blasting out all summer. So something to be aware of. And lasting well into the early hours.

Very basic room with awesome view and location - would use again

Location was amazing! I don’t think you can get anymore central… Port at your doorstep and the beach 5 minutes down the road which has more bars, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets the balcony view was exactly what was promised, amazing Sunset views and view of the port and Temple of Apollo Bed was big and comfy, couldn’t complain and a fridge in the room came in handy for my cold snacks and drinks Hairdryer and shampoo/conditioner/soaps offered which was nice too

Very basic, could have used a kettle at least, missed opportunity for those who like to drink tea on the balcony in the mornings Theres only 1 plug socket that can be used. The only other plug socket was literally high up in the wall next to the front door…. You cant charge anything on it because it would literally dangle, very pointless second plug. Balcony is smaller than i expected and no privacy, but it was good enough for me and the basic fencing around separating the balconies meant my view wasnt disrupted, so whilst theres no privacy persay, its not a huge turn off either, views are worth it Handing in your key to reception every time you go out is a bit weird and didnt feel overly secure, every time i came back a different person was working, whose to say someone else cant just pick my key up and go into the room, no one asked to confirm who i was and if that key belonged to me and my room

Fantastic staff, great location, it suited me perfectly. The hotel is a little tired, hence the price....also there is a problem with pigeons that mess the balcony. Sea view and port view and sunset were amazing. I was out so much it didn't bother me and the bed was soooo comfortable. I think this is a fabulous place, obviously noisey as you are at the port near all the local bars etc....but why let that bother you...it was wonderful!!!

I was ignored by staff while standing at reception desk while he kept dialing a number over and over again. Bed was not a mattress but a box spring. Given a sheet only. Requested a second pillow which was never brought to room.

Staff was very helpful. Hotel has a safe at the front desk. Location is outstanding less than 10 minute walk from the ferry port and right along the main thoroughfare with plenty of restaurants and stores. Room is big but small bathroom. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Don’t leave anything valuable in your room. Security is non existent.

Location to town was good

The insistence that room keys are left on reception not always attended on the reception table for anyone to take meant the feeling of security was a big issue. I could have taken anyone’s keys as could anyone else and no one would have known. This is very poor and would stop me re visiting. Security should be paramount and it clearly isn’t.

I like firm beds but this was a wooden bed with a basic mattress. No base. Extremely hard. Lucky my friend had a camp mattress. Room 301 was like the kids room. 2 hard single beds with a tiny bathroom where I kept knocking my elbow on the door when using the toilet. Advised the bars are noisy on sat nights. I was there 4 nights with very little sleep. They were very loud every night until 2-3am. Wifi very slow at times.

The location is perfect with great views of the harbour area. The room was comfortable. The bathroom on the small side. I would happily stay again.

The hotel is situated next to a row of restaurants and bars so it is noisy until late. Ear plugs fixes that.

A nightmare. Though that implies sleep. We didn’t sleep.(See above.)

Theoretically the location was great—near the port, perfect for a late-night check in. In practice the location was a total nightmare—two VERY nearby/next door outdoor bars/clubs blasting incredibly loud, bass-heavy music till well past 3 am. The hotel is clean, and basic. Not great (uncomfortable mattress, very few plugs) but fine. The roar from next door, though, made the place quite simply awful. Not the fault of the people in charge, who are good well-meaning people, but what can you do? This was one of the worst of many many nights we’ve ever spent on a Greek island. We hope the owners, and other downtown Naxos hotel owners, can somehow exert pressure on the chamber of commerce or the police and whoever to enforce a midnight sound curfew. Otherwise, they are wrecking their own businesses.
