Very-Kokkos Pension 2

Off the ferry it's a 20 minute march south along the crescent waterfront promenade of the town harbour. We had a first floor corner room with dual aspect windows. The narrow corridor and stairwell feeds several rooms in VK#2 so you are at the mercy of your neigbours. A reasonable sized room with the mattress mounted on a solid platform, good hanging and storage spaces. The basin is mounted in the corner of the room to give the small shower / wc more space. The AC is strong, there's a fridge and a TV. Multiple sockets and over bed lighting. Wi-fi was strong as was the water pressure. The room was refreshed once during our two night stay. There is a laundry in the basement, a bakery next door, and the larger Very Kokkos supermarket* over the road. (*Check in is at the smaller VK shop a block further on.) The Oasis taverna across the road was very popular with queues on both nights. We ate at Nikos on the next street. It's an intimate family run place and the food was excellent.

Negatives - Two TV channels ? No high bracket for the shower head. (Fairly typical in Greece.) The entrance light was missing in room #1. The mattress was comfortable but too small for the "platform." Three or four flushes were required to dispatch the captain's log.

cama comodisima, decoraciones de piedra me gustaron mucho, nos dejaron entrar antes de la hora del check in y una terraza espaciosa y bonita

Le lit est propre et semble neuf. L'hôte nous a gentiment gardé nos baguages le temps que notre bateau arrive, pour nous permettre de faire un dernier tour de la ville !

Nous n'avons pas eu une seule goute d'eau chaude, le sol était sale et le bruit de la route et des voisins est extrêmement élevé : aucune intimité sonore, bon courage pour dormir durant la période estivale !
