It was cold on the island it being the end of December and making sure the place is working properly is important if you

I booked this accommodation because of the location near to my family home.

There was no hot water for the entire duration of the stay, and the power went out. It was constant communication with the staff and disrupted the stay which still didn’t solve the issues. When I mentioned my stay was uncomfortable the owner said that it was a good value compared to more expensive options.

Great spot and everything you need on a budget

Location is excellent. You can walk from the Port and the beach is a 2 minute walk. Airconditioning works well and the fridge is nice and cold. Excellent well priced restaurants all around. Little balcony to have a drink on before dinner too!

No where to hang towels or clothes. And the room is a bit spartan. But that’s what a Pensione is like.

Summer break in beautiful Naxos

Location. Value for money. Clean. Towel changing every day. Whatever we asked they furnished eg hair dryer. The people were nice and ready to serve us.

No lighting fixture at the entrance of the room next to closet. No toiletries so one needs to bring his own. The shower head is fixed very high. The fridge plug needs attention.

Location close to the beach.Lady who cleaned was nice.

Room was filthy. Hair absolutely everywhere from the previous lady staying there. Not cleaned up at all. Had to get the cleaners to come clean it but didn't get all the hair. Fridge was septic. Stained, grubby, mank. Remains from drinks and food still left in the fridge. Shower was pathetic. Couldn't find the hotel, had to enter a shop with some cranky woman behind the counter to realise that was the hotel..

Disappointing

Great location, close to everything in Naxos city.

First, the air conditioning. It wasn't cleaned, so it gave a stinky musty smell. This is very dangerous and several lung problems can result if the air conditioner is not cleaned. We couldn't use it. Wifi was not available. The bed was so old that the springs pressed against our sides.

The location of this place is the best thing going for it. It is very close to Agios Georgios beach.

The bed could have been better. the mattress was old and lumpy. There was no garbage can/pail in the room. There was one in the bathroom for the toilet paper, But not in the main room for the trash that accumulated from the things we bought. I asked for a garbage can / pail on two different occasions and was told the maid would bring one. That never happened the whole time we were there. We had to put the trash in plastic bags and leave the bags out in the middle for the maid to take them. On the last day that we stayed when we came back from the beach there was no hot water for showering!. We made do and I did not complain because we were leaving the very next morning.

Poor

I found it expensive for what it had to offer. The room was very old and there was an effort to make it look better and more updated that actually made it look even worse. There was a jacuzzi in the balcony and I believe these money could have been better spend in improving the interior.

Disappointing

I love naxos , the owner is a very nice person and very helpful but some of the rooms and the building itself does need updating, I would recommend naxos to anybody as an island to visit .

I was moved from from my first room because I was told the whirlpool did not work , my second room had no view only a wall of the building behind my room so after a few days back to my first room and on the night of the heavy rain I had to move rooms again because the rain came in through the roof so I had to move again to a better room still with no view it did have a very nice shower alas it had mould in the bottom of it , so even though it is in a very good location the building itself is very substandard and not one that I would ever use again.

Location is great - just a five minute walk from the centre. Staff are super friendly and offered us a coffee for free upon arrival!

There was a dead cockroach lying upside down behind the toilet door and the water was just lukewarm for the first two days of our stay.

Hôte sympathique mais rue bruyante, chambre sale et eau froide

Le lit est propre et semble neuf. L'hôte nous a gentiment gardé nos baguages le temps que notre bateau arrive, pour nous permettre de faire un dernier tour de la ville !

Nous n'avons pas eu une seule goute d'eau chaude, le sol était sale et le bruit de la route et des voisins est extrêmement élevé : aucune intimité sonore, bon courage pour dormir durant la période estivale !
