lovely stay at the sweet home

the manager lefteris took such good care of us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. he provided us with juice on arrival and took our breakfast order! the breakfast was delicious and very filling. the room was very large for the 2 of us and we appreciated having a washing machine and small stovetop (2 burners). lovely location amongst locals

sometimes there was no hot water for showers - best to avoid peak times

A lovely gentleman picked us up at the airport ( free of charge)! We were checked in by a very nice lady who also offered us our breakfast choices. Breakfast was delivered to our room at the time we requested and it was very good. Room was lovely and had a sea view! We enjoyed the walk walk to town and there were amenities nearby. All in all wonderful!

Great value for money

Because it is a quiet time of year, the owner immediately gave me a free upgrade, so I had a large one-bedroom apartment all to myself. This has a fully equipped kitchen with oven, stovetop, Nespresso machine and traditional coffee filter, huge balcony. Ferry terminal a 18 minute walk from here. There is a bus stop for the villages as well as Plaka a 2 minute walk from here. Excellent internet connection There is an excellent, very affordable Naxian take-away nearby - owner will show you. Once I discovered them, I stopped cooking because the food was so delicious I wanted to try everything they had. Moussaka +++

A sweet home away from home!

It was the perfect location and the team that met us were so pleasant and helpful. The breakfast each morning was truly delightful and helped hold us over until dinner. That washing machine in the apartment was a welcomed bonus and gave us a chance to refresh our clothes and finish our trip with clean clothes. You can bet that we will look to return there for a longer stay on our next trip to Greece.

Same as always on Naxos - DIFFERENT yet again!

Good breakfast, lots of choice, delivered to the room. Manager went out of the way to help even giving us a lift to the airport.

only the only complaint we have against Naxos - too many cars and motorbikes, parked everywhere, speeding through narrow streets. Against that some motorists are surprisingly polite, stopping to let you cross busy streets.

lovely host, lovely apartment - but check the distance from town!

lovely place, very nice host. offered to take us to the port on checkout...which is so nice indeed. unusual to get breakfast in an apartment...neat and clean apartment....

a number of things - 1. the location and address given in booking.com was wrong - showing it is near the port - actually it is a good 15/20 minutes walk away. we got the exact location only just before we arrived. so it is very misleading 2. we asked for vegetarian sandwiches - no meat, no eggs, no fish. one sandwich was ham.

A welcoming home in Naxos

The whole family is so warm and welcoming. They are great hosts and very generous. The apartment is clean, spacious and has everything you need. Breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return here. Location is great, with a 10 minute walk into town, and in a quiet street. Say hi to the cat, very sweet and friendly! 😸

Friendly, clean and good value for money

Friendly, welcoming staff. A great breakfast offering each morning, all included. Fab to have use of a washing machine and a rack to dry clothes on. Clean room. Location is a bit further out of the main town but only a 15 minute walk to the port and close to bus stops to get to beaches like Agia Anna. Free parking nearby if renting a car.

Spacious, clean, just outside of town in a quiet area.

The owner and staff were lovely, welcoming from arrival. Breakfast delivered to the room each morning was a wonderful touch, and whilst basic, it was delicious. Pretty close to the town (10ish min walk, 15ish to ferry port), near supermarkets and pharmacies too. The room was spacious and bed comfy. Aircon was effective. Bathroom large. Kitchenette well equipped. Host was responsive via Whatsapp at all times and always ensured you were well looked after.

Only downside (which is known before booking) is there isn't a pool on the property but would be an incredible (albeit expensive edition) for the ultimate chilled experience on the island - beaches are beautiful on the island though so not a dealbreaker just something to keep in mind if this is important to guests.

Amazing stay with delicious breakfast and daily cleaning

Everything was absolutely amazing! We were welcomed at the reception with cheesecake and juice. For breakfast, you can choose from a variety of options (as much as you like) - ham and cheese sandwich, omelette, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, fruit salad, juice, coffee, tea, and more. The breakfast is served to your room every morning at the time you prefer (8-10 am), which felt very comfortable and personal. The rooms are cleaned daily, and laundry is also collected and washed every day, which was extremely convenient.

The only downside was that our room was on the ground floor, so it was a bit dark most of the time.

Lovely, modern accommodation with everything you need. An exceptional host that goes out of his way to make sure that your stay is the best. The lift to the port with all our bags was great! Great staff too and close to shops, restaurants, bus and beach. Tip: If using Google maps use the name of the accommodation and not the street address👌

There is absolutely nothing not to like about Sweet Home Naxos. This accommodation choice was absolutely instrumental in how nice our vacation was on the island of Naxos. If they have availability, do not even question yourself and book the room. I would come back to this location in a heartbeat.

Fabulous stay for exceptional value!

Large spacious place with lots of balconies and room to spread out. It was very clean and walking distance to all shops and port. Lefteris was a great host, making sure our stay was memorable by offering us recommendations to restaurants and places to see, and also fetching us coffees! Highly recommend!

Beautiful and very spacious apartment in a quiet corner of Naxos, yet close enough to the centre and harbour to walk there. The owner/ manager was lovely and made us feel very welcome!

A few more amenities such as coffee/ tea on arrival or extra shower gel/ shampoo would have been appreciated. Breakfast was minimal and not really enough, especially for a family of 5. The manager was very nice and provided extra when we asked for it.

A wonderful stay in Naxos Chora

The accomodation is very close to Chora centre where one can reach everywhere by walk. The accomodation was very clean and they offered us free pick up and drop off from the port without us requesting this. The apartment was very spacious and had 2 bathrooms which was very convenient. It had good ventilation and was very well liy. The staff accomodated to breakfast for gluten free needs. The staff were very nice and helpful and it was very good value for money. Although the breakfast could have been better, would still highly reccomend this accomodation.

Breakfast was a bit limited (toast ham & cheese, boiled egg, coffee, orange juice and on one day only we had a small bowl of chopped fruit and a small croissant), and although the kitchen was fully equipped with facilities there was no coffee sachets or teabags, which would be useful for short stays. Coffee at breakfast was not good and on second day was cold.

Absolutely incredible place. So chill, comfy and the receptionist is very helpful and friendly :) Highly recommended if you want a chill place without paying too much for that! Even I can wash my clothes there, I felt like in home :

You have to walk a little from the port to reach the place (10 m _ 15 m) but I can't complain too much for everything else.

My godness it is the best apartment hotel of the world. Totally 100% new. Spacious apartments. Everything you need in the room. Including a washing machine ! Excellent internet. Breakfast is excellent. It was so good that we changed our plan. In two big weeks, we planned to do 4 islands (4 nights in each islands). We ended by extended twice here, for a total of 10 days !!!! Naxos is excellent, with plenty of mountains, history, and wildlife. And the hotel was so comfy that we loved it !!!! As it was not planned, we stayed in three different apartments. They were all excellent. The excellence of excellence ++++. And thanks to the owner, so so so kind +++

Perfect

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to our incredibly friendly and welcoming host. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a much larger flat, which offered a fantastic view of Chora. The flat itself was spacious, functional, and made for a very comfortable stay. Our host went above and beyond, even providing a complimentary lift to the airport. We couldn’t have asked for better service - Highly recommended !

Beautiful apartment and wonderful hosts!

It was so nice to have a large apartment for our family’s stay in Naxos. And I loved how how every room had a balcony off it which were so nice to sit out on. Everything seemed a reasonable walk away as well. Elipitha brought us breakfast every morning and was just such a lovely woman that made our stay there memorable, she loved our kids so much too and spoiled them. The apartment was nice and new and hospitality was top notch. I’d definitely stay again!

Lovely stay on the island of Naxos

Amazingly friendly staff. Elpida - an absolute treasure (we would come back just to visit her!) - prepared us simple but tasty breakfasts each morning (ham&cheese toasties, greek yoghurt, fresh melon, nutella crepe, bread with jams & fresh coffee, milk and juice). Our room did not have a washing machine but the hotel provided complimentary laundry EVERYDAY! What a luxury! The locations is about an 8 minute walk from the main/busy part of town, no problem at all if you like walking and Lefteris kindly gave us a ride to the ferry when we departed! If you like beaches, skip the one closest to the town and jump on a bus and go straight to Agios Prokopios or Plaka - crystal clear water and white sand! Also had the best dinner of my life at Taverna Naxos - definitely go there!

In regards to location - it might be something to consider if you have little children or a pram as the footpaths in the islands tend to be narrow, uneven and end suddenly!) It's a very short walk into town but as it's also a bigger island there's more traffic to contend with

We would stay here again.

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom which was spacious. We had room to unpack for a short while. There was a safe if you require one. Breakfast was brought by Elpida each morning. It’s a 10- 15 min walk into town.

The bathroom, like all with half a shower door gets wet after a shower.
