Perfect location, fantastic host and really clean!

The location is perfect! Tucked just behind the port and the bus station, it was the perfect base. I got the bus to Plaka beach which goes every 30 minutes in peak season, and the ferry to explore Ios and Paros as well. I did end up renting a car from across the street to explore the other side of Naxos too. Eddie was a fantastic host and met me at the port when I arrived. He’s super passionate about Naxos and has great tips on where to go. The rooms are really clean.

Great place, centrally located - highly recommended!

Room and bathroom very clean, new and modern, we had everything we needed plus a nice outdoor area. Very centrally located.

Some noise from nearby bars at night, but our host had provided us with ear plugs, so it wasn’t really a problem.

A gem in the ❤️ heart of NAXOS

After navigating some steep stairs, the room was lovely 😍 self-contained and had wonderful views from a huge private roof top balcony.

Very close to the port of Naxos, but quiet too. The host (Eddie) was super welcoming and made us feel at home.

The view from our room was a bit restricted, but wasn’t a major issue.

Great sunset from terrace but hard work on the stairs.

Excellent location very close to port and lots of eateries nearby. Also the town's best supermarket close by. Lovely view of harbour and sea from the terrace but no shade at all so full sun all day long!

Anyone with issues with stairs should consider carefully if they can deal with a set of 15 steps from street level (and not easy steps) and further steps and staircases until you reach the room.

Booking.com need more hosts like Eddie

Everything was amazing. Place was immaculate, and well equipped for a short or long stay. It’s located in the heart of Naxos’ tourist area. Walking distance from great cafes, restaurants and bars. The insignia of Naxos (the Temple of Apollo) is easily reachable, as well as the bus station from where you can visit most of the beaches of the island. I could say a lot about this place, but our host (Eddie) made a big difference. The experience was closer to being hosted by my own family. He welcomed us and handover the keys personally together with a pile of recommendations. Nowadays it’s a common practice to pick the keys on a box (which could be handy). I deeply appreciate that Eddie took his time to meet us. Great place, better host, superb experience.

A super place to stay in Naxos Town

Castellino Naxos is in a super convenient position in Naxos Town - only a couple of minutes walk from the port, bus station, supermarkets and restaurants. We are a retired couple who found everything clean and comfortable. We had a room with a small balcony with sea view. The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. We didn't find the accommodation noisy but, having said that, we were visiting early in the year Only a small thing maybe, but the kitchen had a toaster - bit of a rarity in our experience of Greece and much appreciated. Finally, our host Eddie. He spoke really good English and was tremendously helpful and friendly. We can quite understand why other reviewers have commented on how superb he is. A real gentleman.

Close to ferry port, quiet, great amenities, excellent host, solid wifi

Eddie is awesome. One of the friendliest, nicest guys I've met in my travels. The room is fantastic, located very close to the ferry port, good stable wifi, great amenities and easy check in/check out. Too bad I only stayed for one night due to my travel schedule. We were so happy to have found this place! Really wished we discovered it sooner and spent all our days in Naxos here at Castellino! The room is very clean, new and spacious. Just a few minutes walk to the port and bus station. We really liked that the layout of the space, it has the ‘bedroom’ space and kitchen/sink, then washroom for toilet and shower. The shower is the largest we’ve ever had so far in Greece. Host Eddie is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you again!!! We are super happy and will definitely recommend and book again when we visit Naxos again!

The only suggestion I’d have it to have some hooks or hanger bars in the bathroom. The only place where we can hang towels is the door handle. But that is not at all a dealbreaker!

Excellent acoomodation 3 min from the port

Modern room, a lot os space, excellent shower with strong pressure, good internet, excellent host (Hi Eddie) who met me in the port at night and allowed to stay longer on the last day. 3 min from the port and bus station, a lot of coffees and supermarket around.

Small window facing the wall (fine for a city hotel) and the bar nearby (just bring the earplugs).

Eddie was an amazing host! Came and got us from the ferry. Gave us multiple suggestions on dinner and things to do. Was a great source of information and just an all round good guy! The rooms were comfortable and clean with complimentary shampoos ect. Would recommend staying here.

Very friendly staff, Eddie is friendly and perfect. Location great if you are looking for old Town as place for night activities or stay for a night before or after ferry - so close to the port and bus station and all bars etc. Good bathroom, often on Naxos they are so small or not comfortable, but that one was good planed and fine. New and silent fridge in the room. Internet was OK, not very fast, but good enough and stable. For me it was important this time.

Noise, loud music from bars and cooking smell till 3 am. It is not owners fault of course, just remember if you want take a rest after day activities. If you close window it is bit better and there are even ear plugs in the room. I missed electric tea-kettle and cups for simply alone and without restaurant busy atmosphere have my tea at night or early morning coffee.

Castellino is simple but very comfortable and well located close to the port and the main part of the Chora. However it’s very quiet there. The room we had was big and airy and well appointed. The bed was perfect and very comfortable. There’s a small central terrace with a view to the port that one can use. And Eddie who runs the place is really a great guy - very friendly, gracious, helpful and accommodating. He has just started this place a couple of years ago so is still building it up but from our point of view is doing a great job and again his very hospitable personality is a big part of it. We can recommend it highly

Am a solo traveller, not exactly that good with people. The host made that worry of speaking to others a non issue as he was really nice and friendly, even giving me tip and ideas on where to go. Would definitely recommend to others. Location is close to the port, lots of eating places nearby.
