This place really was exceptional. The family who owns and runs this property were so conversational and friendly, which I especially appreciated as a solo traveller. It is just a short walk to the old town of Lucca, and not even that far or difficult to walk to the train station. The room and the property overall had actual character and charm. Breakfast was amazing each day (I stayed for three nights), and if I'm ever lucky enough to visit Lucca again, I'd stay here again without hesitation.

We had a fabulous stay here; large, comfortable rooms, helpful host, within walking distance of the historic town and the breakfast was amazing. A great value stay

It was a pleasure to stay here. The kind and generous hospitality we experienced was highlighted by the wonderful rich Italian breakfast served each day with a smile and explanation by this dedicated family. Thank you so much Mario, Agnese and Constanza. Mario went well beyond the normal call of duty by both picking us up from and dropping us off at the train station.

Everything. It was our third visit in the past several years. The hosts are gracious and friendly and so helpful with every little thing we needed or wondered about. The breakfast was fabulous, variety and quality out of this world. Thank you Costanza, Agnese, and Mario.
