Very enjoyable evening meal on the restaurant terrace.

Pillows could have been better.

The lady on reception was so kind, informative, welcoming and professional. The hotel was very good. Needs a bit of decor updating but was clean, comfortable and tge room was a good size

The restaurant was awful. I booked at 4pm and when I arrived and went to sit at a vacant table was you can't sit there it's reserved. I asked then if all these tables with a view were booked before me at 4pm(checking in time) I was told yes. Dont tell me everyone phoned ahead and asked for a table with a view. The restaurant manager/lady in charge was brusque and unwelcoming. I wanted the menu familial so starter, main course and dessert for 31€ but I preferred the way they cooked the duck on the main menu. It was exactly the same price but they had different accompaniments. No those are the rules. You get offered a little taster - it was basically pastry with seeds on top - awful. What I had was cooked ok except not all the accompaniments worked well together. Plus some of the food was cold. Chose the cheese border basically tiny one mouthful each of 4 cheeses with nothing to go with it except bread. Think careful before you eat here

We have been going to this hotel at least 5 times a year for over 20 years. The staff recognise us & always make us welcome. Close to A77 we were even able to sit out on the terrace for dinner. We always have the same room where possible on the ground floor

The hotel is very run down with old fashioned air con. The bed was not comfortable. The furniture and paintwork show damage from use. Unfortunately the hotel is right next to the A77 motorway and so we could not sleep with the windows open. We were so put off that we went elsewhere to eat in the evening and didn’t stay for breakfast.
