Le Relais badge usually provides good quality designed for the, almost extinct., commercial traveller. Near busy trunk roads but all rooms seem to face the back and beautiful grounds with the Loire beyond the trees. Very quiet at night. Excellent restaurant for guests with reasonable prices.

Breakfast was a little sparse but we found enough good things to eat.

Nice hotel close to Sancerre and Pouilly

The hotel is easy to find, close to Sancerre and Pouilly. There is ample free parking available. The staff are welcoming and speak good English. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant serves very good food and is reasonably priced.

A good night's rest but not so great for eating.

Room was comfortable and as described: a very nice ground floor room with a terrace but without any great noise from the people above. The site was landscaped and buildings well presented.

My main complaint is that the tournedos I had in the restaurant was tough. A pity because their take-as-much-as-you-like buffet was excellent. Relatedly, the hotel is not near to other restaurants, i.e. too far to walk if everyone in your party wants to sample the excellent local wines. Breakfast was limited in scope and availability.

Enjoyed our stay and will return.

We love a room with direct access to garden whilst travelling with our dogs. Our second stay here and this feature in particular makes this logis a perfect stopping off spot for us. All other features are very good and staff very helpful with our limited French.

No particular areas come to mind. Perhaps a little more hot food at breakfast. It was a bit crowded in breakfast room (coach part) buffet area was rather small in this situation, but staff managed well in restocking items.

Loved the fact it had a bath, after a long car journey good to have a soak. Very nice gardens and wooded area for walking, along with a terrace to sit out on in the summer.

Perfect for bikers, you can park your motorcycle around the back on your patio! plus the food is amazing, good gastronomic feasts

We expected that the property would have access to the river, but there were woods between it. Food was expensive and did not really deliver. Noise from main road during vtye day Bar didn't open until 7pm when the restaurant opened. No milk for in room coffee making.

Great size room and very comfortable bed. Air conditioning was welcome as it was hot. My dog was with me so having the doors onto the garden was fabulous. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meal was fabulous and great value for money. Oh and the Pouilly Fume Machot….well…. couldn’t stop drinking it!

Nothing in particular. I guess the rooms are a little ‘80’s’ but I quite liked that as it is a refreshing change from the bland identikit rooms you get today!

Great one night stand for us!

It’s very welcoming, good room facilities, great air conditioning, fridge with some space in it, terrace looking on to gardens. We have stayed here before and the standard is consistently very good.

For the price and the proximity to the A77 it’s very hard to find any faults with this stopover for us.
