A great find in the centre of Charite sur Loire.

This is a charming property in the centre of the village, with easy parking and restaurants close by. The room is tastefully furnished to a high standard, with lovely views to the old abbey. The bed is large and very comfortable, and the shower excellent. Breakfast was a highlight with lots of choice and lovely homemade treats. Francis was an excellent host who made us feel welcome.

A lovely place to stay

We were cycling the Loire a Velo and this was by far the best accommodation we had. A beautifully decorated room and bathroom in a very quiet house. The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. Homemade fresh fruit salad, homemade waffles, jams and yogurt and we were even offered eggs. I only wish we could have stayed longer. La Charite itself is a very pretty town.

A tranquil location, once found, a stone's throw from city centre, and a magnificent breakfast

Once the location is found, it is absolutely tranquil, with a small terrace, and a secure parking space behind gates - certainly OK for one car - not sure if it'll take 2, but adjacent parking is also very quiet. Yet it's only a stone's throw from the town centre with quite a few restaurants and bars. The bedroom is very sizeable - one of the largest we've found in Logis properties, and beautifully appointed. The breakfast was absoutely outstanding

The location, as implied, is right at the heart of La Charitie, and quite difficult to locate. 1 way streets result in quite a convoluted route into the courtyard of the Priory Museum area, and the precise location isn't easy to see. The building is right ahead of you, behind the railing where there is a 'P' sign + an arrow pointing right. The number '21' can be seen if you look carefully: it has 3 gates, and the entry to the Logis is on the furthest to the right. We didn't like the 15 or so narrow bending stairs to the 1st floor - but we managed !!

Charmant. Environnement calme et pittoresque. Très bon contact avec Mr Martin.chambre avec beaucoup de cachet, sde moderne. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel (gaufres et crêpes maison ). 2 parkings gratuits à proximité. Tout est parfait. Je recommande vivement.

Une étape mémorable au bord de la Loire !

Emplacement exceptionnel, sous les ruines du château et à l'entrée du centre-ville historique, dans une rue particulièrement calme. Vaste chambre, au plancher en parquet; grand lit double de 180 cm de large (au moins). Salle de bain moderne, impeccable, d'une propreté irréprochable. Petit déjeuner de grande classe : les confitures, des gaufres chaudes, le yaourt, la salade de fruits, le riz au lait, tout est fait maison et excellent. Propriétaire super sympa, aux petits soins, tout y a été parfait.

Il proprietario è molto gentile, ti fa sentire a casa. Ottimo punto per un soggiorno di una o due notti, soprattutto per gli amanti del vino. Colazione fantastica, crepes appena fatte deliziose. Bagno della camera appena rifatto, tutto nuovissimo. Françoisè molto tollerante sugli orari di check-in check-out

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Es ist sehr sauber. Der Gastgeber ist nett und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut mit selbstgemachten Marmeladen, selbstgemachten Joghurt, frischen Waffeln ... Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne immer wieder.

Un gîte de charme dans une jolie ville.

Un accueil au top dans la petite maison, grand calme, lits confortables, espace, en plein centre de La Charité. Nous étions en vélo avec des enfants, le gîte est proche de la voie verte et tout était prévu pour nous aider. Merci !

Perfect!

Alles was oprecht perfect! Schitterende locatie, op loopafstand van al het moois en de gezelligheid van het prachtige stadje. Alles was brandschoon en het bed lag heerlijk. Geen airco maar de ventilator in combi met de dikke muren zorgde voor een perfect klimaat. Fantastisch ontbijt en zelfs aan onze hond Lana was gedacht in de vorm van een schaaltje met hondensnoepjes ❤️ super lieve en gastvrije gastheer en zijn vrouw. Wij weten zeker dat we hier nog wel eens vaker gaan komen.

Fantastische locatie en een gulle eigenaar die een prachtige ruime kamer met badkamer verhuurt.

Het ontbijt was werkelijk fantastisch, en dat terwijl het in de prijs van de kamer is inbegrepen. Warme pudding, warme kersentaart, yoghurt, etc., en dan vroeg de eigenaar ook nog of we gebakken eieren wilden. Werkelijk alles boven verwachting!

Bij het aanrijden waren we niet zeker van de locatie, een bordje aan het hek met de naam van de residentie zou handig zijn geweest. Nu moesten we de poort open duwen en naar de woning lopen en vragen of we aan het goede adres waren.

Netter Empfang, gute zentrale Lage, die Räder konnten wir in einem Schuppen einstellen, das Frühstück frisch mit Crêpes. Das Bad mit Dusche war sehr schön renoviert. Antikes und Neues waren harmonisch im Zimmer zu finden.

Heerlijk verblijf in prachtig huis

Het is een heerlijke plek, supermooi huis in een prachtig dorp. Onze kamer was zeer verzorgd en schoon, overal was goed over nagedacht. Gezellige inrichting ook, mooi gewoon. Bed was prima. Badkamer fijn en schoon. Heerlijk rustig slapen en top ontbijt met een zeer gastvrije eigenaar die super voor ons heeft gezorgd.

Niets eigenlijk. Tip om buiten aan het hek duidelijker aan te geven dat het daar is, dat was even zoeken

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes altehrwürdiges Haus mit nettem Besitzer. Wir hatten ein hübsches Zummer, gutes Frühstück und einen Parkplatz im Hof. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und perfekt, um das Städtchen zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Aufgrund des Denkmalschutzes hat das Haus nur eine sehr unscheinbare Beschriftung, so dass wir lange gebraucht haben, um es zu identifizieren.

Una casa tradicional, cerca de todo. El dueño solo habla francés pero nos entendimos sin problema, es muy amable. La habitación es grande y todo muy limpio. Un desayuno fantástico. Admiten perros y pueden acompañarte en el desayuno o incluso, si hace buen tiempo, se puede desayunar en el jardín. Hay plazas de aparcamiento gratis al lado. En resumen, una estancia de 10.

Très bon confort dans une maison du 16ème siècle aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et une salle de d'eau moderne. Literie excellente. Ancienne dépendance du prieuré et dans le quartier historique de la ville. A deux pas de la Loire. Déjeuner magnifique et copieux. Excellent accueil du propriétaire.
