The hotel has lots of old world charm and the bedroom had lots of character. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were super friendly. We had our evening meal in the restaurant and it was great.

It was very hot in the room because of the outside temperature. Despite the heat there was a heavy quilt on the bed. There's no air-conditioning and road noise prevents you from having the windows open. It was however, quiet throughout the night but we were awoken early by deliveries to the hotel.

Charming village, helpful and friendly staff. The owners have big projects for the hotel adding musical events to the delicious cuisine they already serve. They have a real passion for their trade and are making the Grand Monarque into what promises to be a landmark spot to hang out in the area.

The hotel was packed during our stay because of a marriage which might have caused an issue with the hot water supply which was unfortunate. We were expecting a slightly bigger room from the photos but it was fine for a short stay.

Wat beviel je het meest aan de accommodatie? Dit hotel is Frankrijk op z’n allermooist: authentiek, oud, charmant en ongelooflijk romantisch. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons welkom door de warme en persoonlijke ontvangst. Het bed sliep fantastisch en de kamer was voorzien van een waterkoker met thee en koffie, een fijn extraatje. Het restaurant was een absolute verrassing: we hebben er werkelijk voortreffelijk gegeten. Toen ik mijn tandenborstel was vergeten, regelde de uiterst vriendelijke gastheer direct een nieuwe én extra toiletspullen. Zó attent en gastvrij zie je het zelden. This hotel is France at its very best: authentic, old, charming and incredibly romantic. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the room included a kettle with tea and coffee, which was a lovely touch. The restaurant was outstanding – we had an absolutely delicious dinner. When I realised I had forgotten my toothbrush, the incredibly kind host immediately arranged one for me, along with additional toiletries. Such genuine hospitality is rare.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant van deze uitstekende locatie. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk en meer dan voldoende.

De verwarming viel wat tegen, men had blijkbaar deze koude temperaturen niet verwacht.

L'amabilité des patrons et du personnel qui ont tous très bien accueilli ma jeune chienne et moi-même. La qualité remarquable du restaurant Cet hôtel est également très propre.

Absence de rideau autour de la baignoire et un tuyau de douche trop court. Remarque déjà formulée au personnel s'occupant de l'entretien lors de mon départ, qui l'a prise en compte et va faire le nécessaire. J'en suis convaincu.

Petit séjour exceptionnel et inoubliable.

Le petit déjeuner, très bien achalandé et de tout, pour tous les goûts. C'était top. Un buffet excellent et exceptionnel. Un dîner succulent, nous étions une famille de 10 personnes ! Tout le monde était ravi. Un velouté de patate douce extraordinaire.

Zimmer doppelt bezahlt und das Hotel reagiert nicht.

Die Lage, das Essen, die Zimmer, alles war sehr gut. Die Kommunikation Vorort ging auch mit Englisch. Parkplätze gab es auch ausreichend und das W-LAN funktionierte dann auch mit dem Richtigen Passwort.

Leider wurden die Übernachtungskosten doppelt abgezogen. Wir hatten Vorort mit Girokarte bezahlt und das Hotel hat dann noch die Vorautorisierung über die Kreditkarte abgebucht. Das Hotel regiert leider nicht auf unsere Reklamation. Wir werden weiter Schritte einleiten.

Un superbe voyage dans le temps avec tout le confort moderne

Le cachet du bâtiment et des chambres, ainsi que leur équipement: tout le confort moderne dans une maison cultivant son âme et son histoire. On a adoré la chambre "Folie" avec son mur de pierres... Le petit-déjeuner composé de produits frais, qualitatifs, régionaux et minimisant les déchets. Le café comme je l'aime. L'accueil aimable et attentionné.

La chambre au-dessus de la salle du restaurant peut être un peu bruyante à l'heure des repas, personnellement cela ne m'a pas dérangé mais cela pourrait incommoder certaines personnes sensibles au bruit.
